Chabad Lubavitch, via Rabbi Pinchas Winston, confirms further, in an even more damning translation, "In the city of Rome, and on that day, three great walls will fall and a great hall will fall, and the power of that city will die." The Military Grade Explosives
In the immediate aftermath of the bombings, Christophe Chaboud - the then Head of the French Anti-Terrorism Co-ordination Unit - after having performed forensic analysis at all four bomb sites, told Le Monde that the explosives used were of "military origin", something he described as "very worrying".
The UK Mirror reported (archived page can be found here) that traces of RDX - a military grade high-explosive - had indeed been found by detectives.
