This year, the Medical Education Committee under the Office of the National Vice President envisioned this Network as one that gives great importance in medical education and ensures that medical students will have the opportunities that help them develop their professional skills. Furthermore, this committee aims to empower every medical student to create a change in education and proactively respond to the needs of medicine, technology, and medical advocacies through introducing medical students to different conferences, conventions, and research.

In line with this, we would like to invite you all to a free webinar entitled Organ transplantation and donation save thousands of lives every year and leveraging its management is important among healthcare providers or medical specialties involved in the operation. In line with this, we are launching a webinar on Deceased Organ Donation and Kidney Transplant on April 13, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Basic Professional Skill Toolkit 4: HISTORY TAKING

โ–ถ๏ธ https://bit.ly/APMCSN-BPST-HistoryTaking

Medical students are expected to have the basic professional skills (BPS) and knowledge by the time they graduate medical school. However, due to the pandemic a lot of medical students suffered from learning these important skills. The BPS series will help students learn a set of clinical activities that graduates are expected to perform independently. This is an important opportunity for students to prepare and, as an end goal, improve patient safety skills.

The project is scheduled for the FY: 2021-2022 and will be held on different social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.

As a future physician, it is important to gather important details in the course of our patientโ€™s illness and piece it all together with our knowledge from all our years of medical training to come up with an appropriate diagnosis in order for us to treat and manage our patient in the best way possible.
Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ve heard many of our consultants and professors tell you that the patientโ€™s history gives us about 70-80% of our diagnosis. So intently listen to your patients as they tell their story.

However, due to the pandemic a lot of medical students suffered from learning these important skills. The BPS series will help students learn a set of clinical activities that graduates are expected to perform independently. The project is scheduled for the FY: 2021-2022 and will be held on different social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.

This video is meant to introduce the basic techniques that will be used in doing a physical exam, there will be more to learn that are specific to the system that you intend to study. Proper technique is important to elicit accurate signs from a patient, which will give us more clues as to the diagnosis of the patient and help us narrow down the diagnostic tests to what is needed.
