Well, I prefer the city center. Because there is a big park there. There are many cafes and bars and there is also a playground.

Here, candidate is overusing there is/are to describe a place. So, here is the 2nd candidate's answer to avoid using this structute a lot.

Candidate 2:
I love the city center because of the gorgeous park located there. It is filled with cafes, bars and an enormous playground has been built there.
