🔥 29 October — World Stroke Day
💥 Stroke remains one of the leading causes of disability and mortality in Belarus. Each year, approximately 40.000 cases are recorded in the country. Consequently, significant attention is devoted to the prevention, accurate diagnosis, and treatment of the condition. Medical care for stroke patients is provided in stages, supported by a network of specialized units.
For instance, in the first nine months of this year alone, more than 4.000 people with neurological conditions received care at the 5th City Clinical Hospital in Minsk — including approximately 1.000 patients suffering from acute cerebrovascular accidents.
