Indeed, all these are noble, but the man of wisdom is My very self; such is My view. For such a devotee, who has his mind and intellect merged in Me, is firmly established in Me alone as the highest goal. (7:18)

What is the final message of the Bhagavad Gita? As you may know the Bhagavad Gita has 18 chapters and 700 verses and the final verse ends with Sanjaya's statement to the blind King Dhartarastra. This verse is one of the most important verses in the Bhagavad Gita. Sanjaya said: “Wherever there is Lord Krishna, the master of all yogas and the archer Arjuna, there alone will be fortune, victory, well being, and righteousness. This my opinion” (Bhagavad Gita chapter 18:78) What Sanjaya meant by saying that is “Where there are persons who are spiritual in nature and always ready to act, there alone will be fortune, victory, well-being, and righteousness.” All of us should never stop acting and we have to act in a selfless manner. LORD KRISHNA is indeed OUR INNER VOICE. ARJUNA is our physical, mental and intellectual PERISHABLE BODY. KURUSHETRA – is the indeed our day to day life where we act which King Darstharashtra introduces as “ dharma-kṣetre kuru-kṣetre” (BG 1:1)

Like all of us, Arjuna was also confused about the proper way to worship God. So, Arjuna very specifically asked Lord Krishna whether one should worship God as a person ( WITH FORM) or worship God as impersonal ( WITHOUT FORM) . (BG:12:1) Lord Krishna answered: “Those who worship me with great faith, I consider them to be perfect. However, those worship the impersonal, formless, imperishable Brahman with proper control of senses also will finally attain me.” (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12:2,3,4) Lord Krishna answered: “Remember those whose minds are attached to the impersonal, formless, imperishable Brahman will find very difficult to progress in their path since they are born with body and mind.” (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12:5) Rishi Veda Vyasa, the founder of Advaita Vedanta (ONLY ONE) had in his mind that we worship BRAHMAN as SAGUNA BRAHMAN - God with attributes as well as NIRGUNABRAHMAN-Godwithoutattributes when he wrote those verses.
Things happen in OUR lives. Nobody is immune from that. We will lose our loved ones. We will lose our jobs. We may become bankrupt. A boyfriend or a girl friend whom U loved most, suddenly drop U from his or her life. First question we ask: Why me? Why is God punishing me? “My life is over” Your life is not over. God is not punishing you either. All these things happen in everybody’s life. Nobody is immune from problems. Lord Krishna even said to his best friend Arjuna: “Arjuna, everything comes and goes in life. Happiness and unhappiness are temporary experiences that rise from sense perception. Heat and cold, pleasure and pain will come and go. They never last forever. So do not get attached to them.” (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2:14) Lord Krishna could have taken a magic wand and made Arjuna very happy. He could have instantly solved all the problems Arjuna had. He did not do that. He allowed Arjuna to go through the process of healing. Similarly, we should not fall apart. Instead we should pick up things and do everything to better in our life.

Forgive” and “Forget” are the two important things all of us should practice in our day to day lives. Without practicing those two things, life will be miserable. Lord Buddha said: "Hatred is not conquered by hatred at any time, but hatred is won by love; this is an eternal truth" Jesus Christ said: “Love thy enemy” Both of them taught almost the same, since they know hatred thoughts can only destroy ourselves. ********************************************************** We are ' forgiving' and 'forgetting' strictly for our own mental peace as well as for our own spiritual growth. That is the reason why Jesus taught us to "love our enemies." * That does not mean we should back off from punishing the guilty party. If we do not make the guilty party pay for his or her actions, we are actually helping the criminal. * We can mentally forgive a man who raped our beloved daughter. * At the same time, we should aid the police for catching and convicting the guilty party so that he will not repeat the heinous act with someone else. * If we do not DO that, we will be as much guilty as the man who committed that crime.
the west, “I am God” statement is misunderstood as a person gloating himself or herself saying “I am God.” The truth of the matter is a person is only recognizing the fact, “ I am not the perishable body. I am the immortal soul within the body called “Atman” which is a mirror image of God or indeed God.” NOBODY BOASTS AND SAY “I AM GOD.” To do that is nonsense. You are not a body with a soul. You are soul which temporarily occupying a human body. Aham Brahmasmi….."I am Brahman or God " (Aham Brahman Asmi) is one of the Mahavakyas used to explain the immortality of the soul in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad. The term comes from the Sanskrit, aham, meaning “I”; brahma, meaning “divine,” “sacred” and also the name of the Hindu creator god; and asmi, which translates as “I am.” Tat tvam asi, ( “thou art that”) in Hinduism, the famous expression of the relationship between the individual and the Absolute which is mentioned the Chandogya Upanishad There is no statement that soul is immortal soul” in the 66 books of the Holy Bible.

Unlike in other religions, in Hinduism, God does not punish anybody. We punish ourselves as well as reward ourselves. Other religions talk about the wrath of God and about the wrath of God as well as about a God who is always angry. In Hinduism, God does not influence or dictate the free will of the human being. The wrath of God is mentioned in many verses in the Holy Bible. We have absolute freedom to whatever we want to do. We reap what we sow. When our actions are good, we reap good results. When our actions are bad, we reap bad results. Lord Krishna said: “God does not decide what each person should do, nor he induce people to act, nor does he create fruits of any action. Each person acts according to his/her Vasanas (Past and present perceptions of mind).” (Bhagavad Gita Chapter 5:14) Lord Krishna said: “God is not responsible for anyone’s sinful (Papa) activities or pious (Punya) activities. People are mistaken about this Since their knowledge is covered by ignorance.” ( Bhagavad Gita Chapter 5:15 )

Lord Krishna said:
“Arjuna, you only have the right to act (Karma); At the same time, you do not have the right for the fruits of actions. You should not act, motivated by the fruits of actions and also never be inactive any time.”
(Bhagavad Gita 2:47)
From the outset, the most oft-repeated advice of Lord Krishna to Arjuna is “Nishkama karma,” doing action without expecting any reward:
Most of our decisions are based on “I” and “mine” and we get affected because we wonder about their outcomes and consequences. “Ego” or “Aham Bhava” is the biggest stumbling block in our life.
Whenever we engage in selfless thoughts and actions that contribute to the welfare of others, we will enter higher states of mind and we will be surprised to see even total strangers helping us in our projects.
Life will become saddening, depressing, etc. because of our attachment to outcome. When we free our self from the outcome and focus instead on the selfless actions, we will be very happy.
That is the reason why Jesus Christ also said: “Don’t Let Your Left Hand Know What Your Right Hand Is Doing….”
