While our goal, first and foremost, as language teachers is of course about developing our students’ language and communicative competencies, we are often faced with situations in teenage classrooms when other (emotional) issues get in the way. In this webinar Herbert Puchta will first look at key research findings into resilience – the ability to adapt to and successfully deal with challenges and stressful situations. He will then present a range of practical ideas and strategies that help build resilience in teenage students, and exemplify those using examples from Think 2nd edition.
