Let's dive in Russian 🇷🇺 war propaganda machine

Recently, new videos emerged of Russian soldiers showing their flag far behind the frontline.

What is important about that is the aim of these operations : to show to the Russian command.

Russian flag videos are almost always the same. One or two Russian soldiers walk along the front line for weeks, evading Ukrainian detection.

Upon reaching the rear, they spend a day wandering through an entire village with their flag, while a drone overhead films them.

As maps close to the Russian Ministry of Defence show, the local command acknowledges that the entire area marked in red here is under Russian control.

Since that is what they are reporting to their command, they have to prove it—hence the false-flag operations.

They are often not armed and will stay in the village for a long time, hidden in a basement, most of the time being found and captured/killed and sometimes go back to their lines.

These soldiers are not meant to disrupt Ukrainian rear but to create the illusion Russia controls an area.

Let's take an example with the video published today, where you can see 1 (yes, just one) russian soldier waving flag.

If you think this creates a grey zone, you are worst than Russian propaganda because you can't even understand what the point of this is.

What's curious is that we have a video on the 27, the 28 and the 29 showing 2 russian soldiers walking towards this direction with a tricolor flag (sometimes they use unit flag).

It is most probably related and the "infiltration" on may 21 didn't show any result @AndrewPerpetua

Another example yesterday with a russian soldier that showed his flag (even the ukrainian drone saw it) in a village behind the frontline.

It was so much behind that the Ukrainians were still moving in armoured vehicles inside and captured the guy.

Playfra (@Playfra0)

After the Russians recorded their usual propaganda flag videos in Kopani, Huljajpole direction, the Ukrainians entered it and recorded a video with their presence instead, then showing the captured Russian flagger.

It’s always like this: the flaggers enters a territory often not under control, record the video and then get either captured, eliminated, wounded or forced to retreat with absolutely no result: no gray zone, no red zone.

Is it surprising in this case? No. Kopani is literally in the close Ukrainian rear. It even seems like the Ukrainians entered it on a car, which says a lot already.

Please, never believe flag, not just Russian flags but also Ukrainian flags. They’re proof of nothing…

The reality is that they are hitting UA targets everydays in the blue areas, which is far in front of those little flag ops.
