There is no offensive for the flanks yet (Lyman, Drujkivka and Dobropilla.

Only one offensive is making small progress, Kostiantynivka.

May was usually (in 2024 and 2025) the month of important increase of russian offensive.

However this year, the Ukrainians managed to fix the situation in multiple areas of the frontline.

It is however too early to say that the situation is completly under control or stabilized. Russian momentum can still find a way during the summer.

It is also too early to say Ukraine will attempt something, but i'm pretty sure they will try at least some localized offensives.

I've heard for 3 years that advances during an attritional war is not linear and slowly increase until a breaking point.

The truth is that the contrary is happening, the ukrainian situation that was critical in 2024 and difficult in 2025 was slowly fixed thanks to reforms.

This video is very interesting. Because hitting some trucks on key roads is something, but hitting the trucks when they reach the tactical level positions is as much important.

If you want to understand russian logistics and the southern frontline, you have to understand the military organisation. Berdiansk and Mariupol are too far, Melitopol and Tokmak cover the western part of the front and the Donbas cities are farther on the east.

Only few towns remain to host 4 armies that are on the front and their logistics and command posts. The main area is along the railway, near Chernihivka, Kamianka and Rozivka. @Playfra0 did an extensive mapping work of russian positions and rear bases in the region.

This is this kind of logistical chokepoints that Ukraine will try to target more. These areas (in Donbass it would be Bakhmut, Popasna, Selydove or Kurakhove) are hosting the main logistical echelon (behind the kill zone but before the roads leading from big cities (Azov Sea ring, Donetsk-Mariupol or Donetsk-Luhansk), which is why we should keep an eye on it.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 continues to attack russian 🇷🇺 fuel trucks on the road to Crimea, trigering an important fuel crisis in the peninsula.

The fuel shortage in Crimea is impacting the peninsula's economy, as well as military operations. Every fuel truck that is hit (at least 25 since the beginning of May) disrupts the entire logistics chain.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has systematically attacked fuel depots and service stations to paralyze Russian operations. Russia is also pursuing a similar strategy against Ukraine, although it is not able to carry out the same daily strikes against trucks.

La nuit dernière, l'armée russe 🇷🇺 a lancé plus de 650 drones Shahed/Geran contre l'Ukraine 🇺🇦, faisant grimper le nombre total à plus de 100 000.

Ainsi, en 4 ans de guerre, l'armée russe a lancé plus de 100 000 frappes de drones-suicides Shahed/Geran, un drone originaire d'Iran et désormais produit en Russie.

Sur ces 100 000 drones, environ 70% sont de véritables drones suicides, mais le reste est constitué de leurres visant à tromper la défense aérienne ukrainienne. Sur ces 100 000 frappes, approximativement 15 000 n'ont pas été abattues.

C'est tout le sens de mon travail actuel chez dronivka.com/ dans le cadre d'un stage, pour lequel je publierai cet été un rapport détaillé sur l'emploi des drones Shahed/Geran en Ukraine, les cibles touchées, les lieux de production et les évolutions, pour permettre aux autres États de prendre la mesure de la menace et d'adapter leur défense.
