HYPE: The positive news event acted as a catalyst to start the next upside breakout attempt. While the support zone I communicated yesterday held, the micro structure suggests it was a 1-2 setup and not an internal fourth wave pullback. I think the news event had an impact there. At the moment I am watching the $84.84 - $88.57 area as next support to keep the rally alive. $95 and $98 are the next resistances.

XRP: The price is reaching the 100% extension at $1.22 in a possible C wave down.
Leading Scenario: The extended wave 2 is tracked as an ABC structure down. The decline from the rejection in the resistance area around $1.65 counts as five waves in a diagonal, not an impulsive move, and could be the C wave. With the C wave at its 100% extension at $1.22, XRP is in the zone where a reversal to the upside can be attempted. A small five-wave move up and a break above the trend line and then the green line at $1.34 - $1.35 would be the first sign that a meaningful low has formed.
Risk Scenario: A reversal is not confirmed yet, and as long as the price stays below $1.34 - $1.35 the local trend remains down.

The current pullback needs to hold a higher low, followed by a higher high above the first resistance at the green line around $1.34 for 5 waves up, and then a 3-wave decline. That would confirm a low and probably mark wave 1 of the next larger 5-wave move.
