Manchester transformed from a modest Roman settlement called Mamucium into the world's first industrialized city during the Victorian era.
Propelled by the global cotton trade and inventions like steam power, it became a powerhouse of wealth and innovation before successfully reinventing itself in the 21st century as a modern city.
Each tour lasts roughly between 3-1/2 to 4 hours (or more) and will include several pubs
Prices: £20 per person (for over 18s),
16-18: £10
Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult)
