🔎 INSIGHT: Q3 2026 is on track for the biggest mega-round share ever
In Q3 2026, 29.5% of all crypto funding rounds are $50M or larger — the highest share ever recorded, and up from 19% last quarter.
The number of mega-rounds hasn't spiked. What changed is that small rounds have dried up, so the big ones now make up a much larger slice of a smaller market.

Revolut exposed the personal data of a subset of users after failing to flag a fraudulent government data request, on-chain investigator ZachXBT reported.
The exposed records reportedly include copies of passports or driver's licenses and their verification selfies, account statements, IBANs, withdrawal records and full transaction histories, including Bitcoin, alongside names, dates of birth, occupations, home addresses, emails and phone numbers.
The request is said to have come from an email account spoofing a government agency's official domain, complete with valid domain authentication, which appears to have let it slip past Revolut's checks before the customer information was shared.

The big shifts:
• Tokens can move from SEC to CFTC as they decentralize.
• Developers and validators stop being treated as targets.
• The old custody penalty (SAB 121) is gone.

Who Led the Rally: Weekly Gainers Among Top 300
Bitcoin broke $85,000 while Ethereum climbed to $2,700, and the rest of the market followed — only 15 of the top 300 closed the week red.
The biggest stories of the week: NEAR (+77%) and Arbitrum (ARB, +63%). Both moved double digits at multi-billion caps ($5.55B and $1.49B), proof the rally reached the majors, not just microcaps like DRV (+173%) and AKE (+160%).
