Binance Pool To Close November 10, Giving Bitcoin Miners Weeks To Move
https://www.newsbtc.com/bitcoin-news/binance-pool-close-november-10-bitcoin-miners/

TL;DR: Binance will discontinue its mining pool and related services at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026. Miners must redirect their machines before the shutdown to avoid an interruption in mining activity. Bitcoin miners connected to Binance Pool have a firm deadline: November 10. The exchange announced on October 13 that its mining pool, along with a range of related products, will stop operating at 07:00 UTC on that date. The closure is wider than the pool’s basic block-reward service. Binance says it is also withdrawing Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, its Transaction Accelerator and several supporting features, including mining pool APIs and hashrate alerts. For miners, the practical step is straightforward but time-sensitive. Machines currently pointed at Binance’s mining endpoints will need to be reconfigured for another pool before the cutoff. After that time, new shares and hashrate submissions will no longer be accepted or credited by Binance Pool. There is a financial housekeeping task, too. Binance has asked users to deal with active savings positions and ensure their accounts can receive any outstanding rewards or refunds. Eligible balances will be handled under the relevant product terms and compliance requirements, rather than disappearing automatically at the moment of shutdown. Binance has described the move as part of an ongoing product review. It has not established in its closure notice that a specific hashrate decline caused the decision, so claims about the precise commercial reason should be treated cautiously. The announcement does not mean Binance is shutting down its Bitcoin exchange or spot trading operation. It is an exit from one part of the mining-services business, with an immediate operational consequence for miners who still use it.
Robinhood Chain Now Accounts For More Than Half Of Uniswap Revenue
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-news/robinhood-chain-uniswap-september-revenue/

TL;DR: Uniswap generated approximately $14.81 million in protocol revenue during September, with Robinhood Chain contributing about 53% of the total. Tokenized-stock trading is changing where the exchange earns its fees. Uniswap’s strongest reported revenue month has come from an unexpected direction: a relatively new network associated with a mainstream brokerage. September protocol revenue reached approximately $14.81 million, according to figures discussed by Token Terminal and reported on October 17. Robinhood Chain, which launched in July, accounted for roughly 53% of that amount. That works out to nearly $7.9 million from one network alone. For a decentralized exchange better known for swapping crypto tokens, the source of the growth matters as much as the total. Tokenized stocks and other on-chain representations of traditional assets have created an additional pool of transactions from which trading fees can be earned. That does not mean traditional finance has simply moved onto Uniswap. Products differ in their legal rights, issuer structures and geographic restrictions, and some stock-linked tokens are not equivalent to holding the underlying shares directly. But revenue generated from these instruments is real economic activity for the trading protocol. It also creates a concentration question. If more than half of one month’s revenue comes from a single network, changes in that network’s trading incentives, competition or activity could move Uniswap’s results sharply in either direction. The September figures illustrate an important change in the business of decentralized exchanges. Crypto-to-crypto speculation is no longer the only activity capable of generating material protocol fees. Whether the new revenue mix lasts will depend on recurring trading demand, not one standout month.
Aave’s Native Bitcoin Plan Moves Forward, But Governance Has Questions
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-news/aave-babylon-native-bitcoin-collateral-v4/

TL;DR: Babylon Labs has advanced a proposal to bring native Bitcoin collateral to Aave V4 without requiring wrapped BTC or a central custodian. The plan still faces community review, risk analysis and governance votes. Bitcoin could become collateral for Aave loans without first being handed to a custodian or converted into a freely traded wrapped token. That is the proposal Babylon Labs took to Aave’s governance forum on October 14, advancing a project that has been under discussion since an earlier temperature check. The design uses Trustless Bitcoin Vaults. A user locks BTC into a Taproot-based arrangement on the Bitcoin network, while Aave V4 records restricted collateral units inside a dedicated lending market. Those accounting units are not intended to circulate like ordinary wrapped Bitcoin. The attraction is clear: holders could borrow stablecoins against their BTC while the underlying coins remain governed by Bitcoin-side spending conditions. Aave’s proposed hub-and-spoke design is intended to isolate the market’s particular risks instead of mixing them with every other collateral asset. But it would be premature to call the integration approved. The current Aave Request for Comment is a governance stage, not a live borrowing product. Risk parameters, community support, a Snapshot vote and an eventual on-chain proposal remain ahead. Forum participants have already raised technical questions about emergency pauses and who controls parts of the vault infrastructure. Those details matter in lending, where the ability to release or liquidate collateral can become critical during market stress. For now, this is a serious attempt to connect Bitcoin liquidity with Ethereum-style lending, with the hardest operational questions still being worked through in public.
Tokenized Stocks Reach $262 Million In DeFi, But The Growth Is Not All On Base
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-news/tokenized-stocks-defi-262-million-across-chains/

TL;DR: Stock-linked tokens deployed in DeFi reached an estimated $262.4 million across blockchains at the end of September, up nearly 18-fold from the start of 2026. Base accounted for about $16 million, not the entire total. Tokenized stocks are starting to do more than sit in digital wallets. A September 30 snapshot put approximately $262.4 million of stock-linked assets into decentralized finance applications across multiple blockchains, compared with around $14.66 million at the beginning of the year. The figures describe assets being used in DeFi, not the total value of all tokenized equities outstanding. That distinction is important as the category grows more complicated, with different issuers, networks and financial rights behind products that can look similar on a trading screen. Solana accounted for about $95.9 million of the DeFi amount in the tracked figures, while Robinhood Chain held approximately $79.9 million. Base’s reported portion was closer to $16 million. The growth story, in other words, is spread across several networks rather than belonging exclusively to one exchange or Layer 2. Once stock-linked tokens can be exchanged in automated markets or pledged as collateral, investors gain new ways to put positions to work. The trade-off is exposure to protocol risks and liquidity conditions that do not exist in the same form in an ordinary brokerage account. It is also important not to assume that every token represents direct legal ownership of an underlying share. Rights, redemption mechanisms and eligibility rules vary by issuer. The $262 million figure is still small beside conventional equity markets. But its significance lies in what those assets are being used for: programmable financial activity, not simply a blockchain-branded way to hold a stock.
Block’s Proto Mining Hardware Gets A Smaller Entry Point With Sazmining
https://www.newsbtc.com/bitcoin-news/block-proto-sazmining-bitcoin-hashboard-financing/

TL;DR: Sazmining is offering individual Proto immersion hashboards at $4,187 each, with financing and managed hosting. The arrangement lowers the upfront hardware purchase but does not remove Bitcoin mining‘s ongoing costs or profitability risk. Buying into industrial Bitcoin mining usually means dealing with noisy equipment, electricity contracts and cooling infrastructure. A new offering built around Block’s Proto hardware takes a different approach: purchase a single hashboard and leave the hosting to someone else. Sazmining lists Proto immersion hashboards configured for approximately 204 terahashes per second, with efficiency of roughly 15 joules per terahash. Three boards make up a full Proto Immersion Module, but customers can start with one. The advertised hardware price is $4,187. Its financing option requires $1,397 upfront followed by 18 monthly payments of $155, at a stated 0% interest rate. A separate hosting and maintenance fee of $153 a month applies, covering power at the quoted service rate and operational support. Those recurring charges are central to the economics. A lower entry price does not mean free mining, and the Bitcoin received depends on network difficulty, rewards, uptime, fees and the market price of BTC. A hashboard can be technically efficient and still produce disappointing returns for its owner. For Block, the offer broadens the potential audience for its Proto equipment. For Sazmining, it packages industrial hardware into a managed service that customers can purchase in smaller units. The appeal is convenience and modularity. The question for buyers is whether the projected mining revenue comfortably covers all the costs that continue after the hardware purchase.
Solana’s Tokenized Asset Market Grows More Than Sixfold In A Year
https://www.newsbtc.com/altcoin-news/solana-tokenized-assets-sixfold-growth-2026/

TL;DR: Research attributed to Castle Labs puts Solana’s real-world asset market at about $4.3 billion, versus $700 million a year earlier. Ethereum remains substantially larger, but the gap has narrowed sharply. Solana’s next growth story may have less to do with meme coins and more to do with assets that already exist in the traditional financial system. According to a recent Castle Labs assessment of the ecosystem, the value of real-world assets represented on Solana rose from approximately $700 million to $4.3 billion over twelve months. That is more than a sixfold increase in the market’s size, although it should not be confused with a 600% mathematical gain: the increase from those rounded figures is about 514%. The comparison with Ethereum is revealing. The same report put Ethereum’s tokenized asset value at roughly $16.6 billion, against $15.5 billion a year earlier. Ethereum remains almost four times Solana’s size by this measure, but Solana’s total now equals about 26% of Ethereum’s, up from approximately 4.5%. The category includes assets such as tokenized securities, credit and yield-bearing instruments, rather than a single kind of token. The figures can shift as new products are issued, underlying market values move and data providers change how they categorize assets. It is tempting to treat the increase as a direct forecast for SOL’s price, but that leap would be unjustified. Tokenization can grow without every dollar of additional asset value translating neatly into demand for a network’s native token. The more useful conclusion is that Solana is becoming a meaningful venue for financial instruments beyond cryptocurrencies themselves. Whether it can close more of the gap with Ethereum will depend on issuers, liquidity and the quality of the applications built around those assets.
JPMorgan Takes JPM Coin To Ethereum As Banks Test Public-Chain Settlement
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-news/jpmorgan-takes-jpm-coin-to-ethereum-as-banks-test-public-chain-settlement/

JPMorgan is taking its bank-issued deposit token onto public Ethereum, an expansion that puts an established Wall Street payments product on infrastructure traditionally associated with crypto-native finance. TL;DR: JPMorgan is expanding access to JPM Coin on Ethereum for institutional users. The token represents bank deposits rather than an independently issued stablecoin, and participation remains restricted. The significance is in who is allowed to move the money, and where. JPM Coin gives eligible customers a tokenized claim on dollars deposited with JPMorgan. Its move onto Ethereum creates a way for institutions to send funds and settle transactions around the clock while still operating inside the bank’s permissioning framework. That distinction separates deposit tokens from the conventional stablecoin model. A holder of a dollar stablecoin generally has a claim governed by the issuer’s redemption arrangements and reserve assets. JPM Coin is bank money represented in token form. It is not being offered as a freely transferable dollar for ordinary Ethereum users. JPMorgan previously introduced the deposit token on Base, and Ethereum provides another venue where financial institutions and tokenization platforms can coordinate payments. Potential uses include moving collateral and settling transactions against tokenized assets, where a conventional banking cut-off can create delay between the asset leg and the cash leg. A public blockchain does not automatically make the system open to everyone. The bank continues to control institutional access and compliance. The development is better understood as traditional finance adopting a public settlement network without abandoning its existing customer controls. For Ethereum, that may be the bigger story: a major bank choosing its infrastructure for business that depends on predictable dollar settlement, rather than simply issuing another experiment. CME Targets October 19 Start For Bitcoin Cash And Uniswap Futures
https://www.newsbtc.com/derivatives/cme-targets-october-19-start-for-bitcoin-cash-and-uniswap-futures/

CME Group has scheduled the introduction of Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures for October 19, giving institutional derivatives traders two more cryptocurrency markets to access through a regulated venue. TL;DR: CME previously announced BCH and UNI futures for an October 19 launch, subject to regulatory review. Standard and micro contracts are planned for both assets. The exchange first disclosed the expansion on September 22. That timing matters: this is the scheduled start of an already announced product, not a surprise decision taken this morning. CME lists standard Bitcoin Cash contracts of 250 BCH and micro contracts of 25 BCH. For Uniswap, the respective sizes are 10,000 UNI and 1,000 UNI. These contracts are designed to let market participants manage price exposure without arranging custody of the underlying tokens. That suits trading firms and institutions that already use futures as part of a wider portfolio or hedging operation. It also gives two assets outside the largest cryptocurrencies another route into institutional market infrastructure. Uniswap is a particularly interesting addition because its token sits in the decentralized-finance sector. The existence of a listed futures contract does not itself establish demand for a future exchange-traded fund, nor should a derivatives launch be treated as evidence that regulators have approved any spot ETF. CME says the planned additions respond to customer demand for risk-management tools. The exchange’s crypto product range already extends beyond Bitcoin and Ether, and the new contracts continue that approach. The remaining detail traders should watch is the exchange’s confirmation of regulatory clearance and live trading. A published target date is not the same as confirmation that every contract has begun trading. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
German Savings Banks Begin Crypto Trading Rollout Inside Sparkassen App
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-news/german-savings-banks-begin-crypto-trading-rollout-inside-sparkassen-app/

Germany’s Sparkassen savings-bank group is beginning a phased cryptocurrency-trading rollout inside its existing banking app, taking an asset class it once treated cautiously into a familiar retail-finance setting. TL;DR: The first participating Sparkassen banks are offering crypto trading from October 19. The rollout is gradual, with 30 to 40 institutions expected to join each month, and is handled through DekaBank. There is no national switch that turns the service on for every customer at once. Each regional savings bank decides when to participate. The group’s association told German news agency dpa that the opening selection includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana and Polygon, with a substantial number of interested institutions expected to be connected during the first half of 2027. DekaBank is providing the service with Börse Stuttgart involved in custody arrangements. Customers can access the product through the Sparkassen app instead of creating a separate account at a crypto exchange. That convenience is central to the strategy, but the banks say the product is intended for customers making their own trading decisions rather than for a mass marketing drive. The cautious messaging is deliberate. Sparkassen continues to describe cryptocurrencies as highly speculative and warns of steep volatility and total loss. Traditional savings products remain its preferred route for broad long-term wealth building. This is a meaningful change for the German retail market nonetheless. Banks built on deposits and household relationships are responding to demand that previously went to specialist exchanges and mobile-first financial apps. How quickly individual branches opt in will matter more than the headline customer reach of the entire network. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
Kraken Parent Payward Moves Into European Banking With Saldo Deal
https://www.newsbtc.com/exchanges/kraken-parent-payward-moves-into-european-banking-with-saldo-deal/

Payward, the company behind crypto exchange Kraken, has agreed to acquire Lithuania-based Saldo Bank, taking a route into European banking that goes beyond obtaining another exchange registration. TL;DR: The proposed acquisition would give Payward an existing licensed banking operation in Europe. The deal remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in 2027. Saldo provides banking products including loans and deposits. Bringing it into Payward would potentially put cash accounts, crypto assets and lending under a more connected product offering, rather than forcing customers to move between a separate crypto venue and their bank every time they need to borrow, spend or settle funds. This is an important difference from a cryptocurrency firm simply partnering with an external payments provider. Ownership of a bank brings a regulated operating business, supervisory obligations and a different level of responsibility for customer money. Payward will not acquire unrestricted banking powers across Europe merely by signing the purchase agreement; the necessary approval and post-acquisition controls are still ahead. The European push also fits a wider industry pattern. Crypto companies are pursuing banking relationships and charters as tokenized securities, stablecoins and conventional financial accounts become more closely linked. Existing lenders, meanwhile, are building crypto products of their own. For Kraken users, the immediate message is about direction rather than a product they can use today. A completed acquisition could eventually make financing and fiat services feel less fragmented. Until regulators approve the transaction and the integration is completed, the promised benefits remain plans rather than available services. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
South Korea Faces Fresh Push To Delay Crypto Gains Tax Until 2029
https://www.newsbtc.com/regulation/south-korea-faces-fresh-push-to-delay-crypto-gains-tax-until-2029/

South Korea is approaching another decision point on its long-delayed cryptocurrency gains tax, with exchanges and policymakers preparing to discuss whether the January 2027 start date is realistic. TL;DR: The country’s planned crypto tax has already been deferred three times. A new proposal would push implementation toward 2029, but no additional delay has been enacted. Finance officials are expected to meet representatives of major domestic exchanges on October 20. The industry is arguing that the systems needed to handle different transaction types and calculate cost bases are still incomplete. A rushed launch, exchanges say, risks creating inconsistent tax treatment or driving activity to offshore platforms. South Korea’s planned rate is commonly described as 22% after local tax is included, rather than a simple 20% all-in charge. The question now is less about whether crypto gains should ever be taxable than whether the supporting reporting infrastructure is ready for millions of transactions across different venues. A lawmaker’s proposal would link the effective date to cross-border data sharing through the OECD’s Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework, potentially moving the start to 2029. That measure requires legislative action; a meeting with exchanges cannot, by itself, change the law. For investors, the current scheduled date remains January 2027 unless lawmakers decide otherwise. For exchanges, a later timetable could buy time to build reporting systems, but another postponement would also prolong policy uncertainty. South Korea has reached this crossroads before, which is why a proposed delay should not be reported as a settled outcome. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
BlackRock Files For Bitcoin ETF With Managed Downside Protection
https://www.newsbtc.com/bitcoin-news/blackrock-files-for-bitcoin-etf-with-managed-downside-protection/

TL;DR: BlackRock has proposed another Bitcoin-linked ETF, this time using options to pursue some protection against losses while giving up part of the potential upside. BlackRock’s latest Bitcoin fund filing takes a different approach from the familiar buy-and-hold exposure offered by its iShares Bitcoin Trust. Instead of simply following the price of Bitcoin, the proposed iShares Bitcoin Managed Protection ETF would use an options strategy linked to IBIT or similar exposure. The ambition is straightforward enough: participate in some of Bitcoin’s gains and seek a measure of protection during a decline. The trade-off is equally important. Gains could be capped, and the protection is neither unconditional nor guaranteed. The structure is designed around overlapping options positions, meaning an investor’s outcome could depend on when the shares are purchased as well as what Bitcoin does next. That makes this a different kind of product, not a safer version of holding spot Bitcoin in every circumstance. Options costs, fund expenses and changing market prices all affect what shareholders receive. The filing arrives as issuers work to move beyond basic spot exposure. Income-oriented and buffered Bitcoin products try to give financial advisers additional ways to fit an unusually volatile asset into conventional portfolios. For investors, the missing details matter as much as the proposed strategy. An SEC filing does not mean the fund has been approved or launched. Its eventual fees, live portfolio and actual protection terms will determine whether the structure delivers a useful alternative to IBIT. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Pulls In $665 Million While Rivals Lose Money
https://www.newsbtc.com/bitcoin-news/blackrock-bitcoin-etf-pulls-in-665-million-while-rivals-lose-money/

TL;DR: BlackRock’s IBIT recorded roughly $665 million in net inflows on October 19, even as several other US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw investors take money out. A strong day for Bitcoin ETFs wasn’t quite as broad-based as the headline number suggests. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust took in approximately $665.16 million on Monday, according to SoSoValue’s fund-flow figures, while the US spot Bitcoin ETF group recorded a combined inflow of about $526.6 million. That difference is the story. Money going into IBIT more than offset withdrawals from competing funds. Fidelity’s FBTC registered roughly $83.6 million in outflows, while Grayscale’s GBTC shed about $54.9 million. Rather than a uniform surge of demand for every Bitcoin product, Monday’s numbers point to a preference for the market’s biggest vehicle. IBIT has become the default choice for many investors seeking exchange-traded Bitcoin exposure, although a single day’s figures cannot establish why individual institutions moved money. The reversal also follows a Friday session in which the group recorded net withdrawals. It underscores how quickly flows can shift around market volatility and broader risk sentiment. Flows are useful evidence of ETF subscriptions and redemptions, but they shouldn’t be read as a direct measure of new cash buying Bitcoin at a particular hour. Fund mechanics and market-making activity complicate that picture. The next question is whether demand spreads to other products or whether IBIT continues to absorb most of the market’s incremental interest. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
Mastercard Introduces Fraud Screening Before Stablecoin Payments Go On-Chain
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-news/mastercard-introduces-fraud-screening-before-stablecoin-payments-go-on-chain/

TL;DR: Mastercard has launched Stablecoin Security, a risk-scoring tool designed to help financial institutions examine payments before and during their movement across blockchains. Stablecoin transfers can settle quickly. Investigating a suspicious payment before it happens is a much harder task, particularly when the transaction crosses providers, blockchains and traditional banking systems. Mastercard wants to tackle that problem with Stablecoin Security, introduced at Money20/20 in Las Vegas. The product combines conventional payment intelligence with blockchain data so banks and payment companies can assess fraud, sanctions and scam risks across a transfer’s journey. The service works through an API and can generate a risk assessment before a transaction is completed. Mastercard says it can consider the payment context, the origin of the funds and potential exposure to restricted parties. Borderless.xyz and Keyrails are the initial partners. For businesses considering stablecoin settlement, this fills an operational gap. A payment may be technically possible and still raise questions about counterparties, compliance or whether the funds arrived through a compromised wallet. Mastercard’s announcement cites research covering 593 million stablecoin transfer events and 141 million Ethereum transactions in 2025, finding that almost 60% involved more complex, multi-step routes rather than simple one-to-one transfers. The company is initially launching in North America and expects wider commercial availability in 2027. It isn’t promising to eliminate fraud, but it is bringing a familiar banking control into an increasingly unfamiliar payment environment. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
Metaplanet Bitcoin Investment Clears Super League Shareholder Vote
https://www.newsbtc.com/bitcoin-news/metaplanet-bitcoin-investment-clears-super-league-shareholder-vote/

TL;DR: Super League shareholders have approved proposals connected to Metaplanet’s plan to contribute 2,100 BTC and cash to a new US-listed Bitcoin treasury platform. Metaplanet’s proposed American Bitcoin treasury vehicle has moved a step closer to reality, but the transaction has not yet closed. Super League Enterprise said shareholders approved the relevant proposals at their annual meeting on October 16, clearing an important hurdle in the arrangement announced earlier this year. Under the deal, Metaplanet’s US subsidiary would contribute 2,100 Bitcoin and $2.5 million in cash to Super League. After closing, the Nasdaq-listed company is expected to change its name to Superplanet and trade under the ticker SUPA. The arrangement gives the Japanese Bitcoin treasury specialist a potential US capital-markets platform, while Super League would retain its existing advertising and media business as an operating segment. Importantly, the shareholder vote is not the same as completion. Regulatory filings, Nasdaq requirements and other customary closing conditions remain outstanding, with the companies currently targeting the fourth quarter. The proposed structure also raises questions that extend beyond the Bitcoin price. Investors will need to watch how ownership is allocated, how additional capital could be raised and whether the operating business changes the risk profile of a Bitcoin-heavy public company. For now, the news is a procedural milestone in an unusual cross-border deal — not evidence that 2,100 BTC has already arrived on the balance sheet. Written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
Hyperliquid Policy Center Calls For Five Changes To SEC Crypto Rule
https://www.newsbtc.com/crypto-regulation/hyperliquid-policy-center-calls-for-five-changes-to-sec-crypto-rule/

TL;DR: The Hyperliquid Policy Center supports the SEC’s proposed crypto framework but says five changes are needed to make the rules workable for token developers and markets. The Hyperliquid Policy Center has welcomed the US Securities and Exchange Commission‘s attempt to clarify how securities law applies to crypto assets, while warning that details around distributions and trading could still create unnecessary barriers. In a comment published October 19, the group urged the regulator to revise its proposed Regulation Crypto Assets framework in five areas. Its concerns include how administrative steps in token airdrops are treated, how tokens can trade after an exempt distribution, and whether a safe harbour offers clear enough protection once a project has matured. The centre also wants clearer rules for token buybacks and a consistent approach to the interaction between federal exemptions and state securities requirements. The proposals reflect a long-running problem for cryptocurrency developers. A network token may begin life inside a fundraising arrangement, yet eventually circulate in a system where thousands of participants trade and use it without dealing directly with its original issuer. Drawing a line between those stages has been difficult under decades-old securities tests. The SEC’s proposal is intended to offer more predictable treatment, but the consultation process shows that industry participants still disagree about where the boundaries should fall. The advocacy group’s submission is not a regulatory decision. It is one contribution to a rulemaking process whose final outcome will depend on the commission’s response to the evidence and objections it receives. Probly Wraps Up TOKEN2049 Singapore and WHALE3RA, Strengthening Its Presence in On-Chain Prediction Markets
https://www.newsbtc.com/news/probly-wraps-up-token2049-singapore-and-whale3ra-strengthening-its-presence-in-on-chain-prediction-markets/

The British Virgin Islands, Road Town, October 2026 — Probly, an on-chain prediction market for sports, politics, crypto, finance, and global events, has concluded its participation as a Gold Sponsor of TOKEN2049 Singapore and co-host of the WHALE3RA Afterparty alongside BloFin, TxFlow, and other ecosystem partners.   Across TOKEN2049 week, Probly connected with traders, builders, infrastructure teams, partners, and Web3 communities around the growing role of prediction markets as a way to express views on real-world events. The week also gave Probly an opportunity to introduce its approach to prediction markets to a broader crypto-native audience: simple access, broad market coverage, self-custody USDC, peer-to-peer trading, and verifiable on-chain settlement. From Market Opinions to On-Chain Signals Prediction markets are increasingly becoming an interface for turning expectations about future events into market signals. For Probly, TOKEN2049 provided an opportunity to bring that idea directly to an audience already accustomed to trading changing market conditions, information, and expectations. The name Probly comes from “probably,” the word people use when the outcome of an event remains uncertain. It is also inspired by P(A), the mathematical notation used to represent the probability of an event.   Probly currently supports 5,100 events and 47,000 markets across Sports, Geopolitics, Crypto, Finance, Economy, and Politics. The platform also offers 172 active live markets for same-day trading, including high-frequency Crypto “Up or Down” rolling markets across BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP. Probly is the first prediction market application developed through TxFlow Improvement Protocol 3 (TIP3). Settlement through TxFlow enables on-chain settlement, automatic USDC payouts, and no manual claim step. Bringing the Prediction Market Conversation to WHALE3RA Probly also co-hosted WHALE3RA at MARQUEE Singapore during TOKEN2049 week alongside BloFin, TxFlow, and other ecosystem partners.   The event brought together traders, builders, funds, exchanges, infrastructure teams, and Web3 communities, giving Probly an opportunity to engage directly with many of the audiences shaping the next generation of crypto products.   For Probly, these conversations reinforced an important direction for the product: prediction markets should not be limited to occasional major events. They can become a more active interface for following changing information, forming a view, and trading expectations as events develop. What Comes Next for Probly Following TOKEN2049 Singapore, Probly will continue developing its prediction market experience around accessibility, broader event coverage, frequent trading opportunities, and transparent on-chain infrastructure. The company will also continue working with ecosystem and infrastructure partners as it develops new ways for users to express views on future outcomes through on-chain markets.   TOKEN2049 and WHALE3RA marked another step in bringing Probly’s core idea to a wider audience: uncertainty is everywhere, and markets can make collective expectations around what happens next more visible, transparent, and useful. Before It Happens. About Probly Probly is a prediction market built on TxFlow L1 through TxFlow Improvement Protocol 3 (TIP3). It turns views about future events into continuously updated market signals across sports, crypto, economics, news, culture, weather, and other real-world categories.   Probly combines real-time markets, broad event coverage, fully on-chain settlement, and self-custodied USDC infrastructure. Its mission is to make collective expectations more immediate, transparent, and useful by converting uncertainty into a price. Media Contact

GRVT Burns 1.1 Million Tokens as Countdown to Grvt 2.0 Begins
https://www.newsbtc.com/news/grvt-burns-1-1-million-tokens-as-countdown-to-grvt-2-0-begins/

The discretionary buyback represents close to 1% of circulating supply and precedes four planned product milestones culminating in Grvt 2.0. Road Town, British Virgin Islands, October 22, 2026 – Grvt, a self-custodial trading platform built on its own zero-knowledge (ZK) chain, announced that the Foundation’s token issuer has completed its first GRVT token buyback, purchasing and burning 1.1 million GRVT tokens on the open market. The transaction permanently removed close to 1% of GRVT’s circulating supply at the time of purchase. It marks the first of five milestones ahead of the planned launch of Grvt 2.0 at the end of November 2026.   A discretionary buyback with on-chain verification The Foundation’s token issuer intends to conduct further buybacks on a monthly basis. Each transaction remains entirely at the issuer’s discretion, with no predetermined purchase amount or guaranteed schedule. Buybacks are executed through an independent execution partner, with purchased tokens transferred to a designated burn address and permanently removed from circulation. The transactions can be independently verified through the public buyback dashboard, which records the number of tokens purchased and burned, the percentage of circulating supply represented, cumulative burns and on-chain transaction hashes. “The GRVT token is an important part of the ecosystem we are building,” said Hong, co-founder and CEO of Grvt. “We welcome the issuer’s buybacks as a demonstration of its long-term commitment to the ecosystem and community. Grvt is expanding its products and markets, and the issuer’s buybacks sit alongside that as a supportive mechanism aimed at reducing circulating token supply.” Grvt outlines four product milestones The announcement follows GRVT’s token generation event in July 2026 and precedes a series of planned launches. Grvt Earn, scheduled for the end of October, will introduce yield opportunities backed by tokenized fixed-income assets, with target yields of up to 11%. Returns are expected to derive from underlying asset cash flows, including interest, premiums and invoice-related income. Asset-supplying partners will be announced at launch. Target yields are not guaranteed. Stable Funding Perps, scheduled for November, will introduce perpetual futures linked to commodities, stocks, foreign exchange and indices. The contracts are planned to carry zero trading fees and use once-daily funding. Grvt aims to list more than 1,000 markets by the end of December 2026. Yield as Margin, also scheduled for November, will allow eligible Grvt Earn balances to support trading positions while continuing to accrue yield, subject to applicable product terms and risk parameters. Grvt 2.0, scheduled for the end of November, will consolidate these capabilities into a single self-custodial app, alongside a new name, visual identity and the company’s 2027 roadmap. Addressing idle capital The expansion follows a survey of Grvt traders conducted earlier in 2026. Six in ten respondents reported keeping at least a quarter of their capital on the platform idle, while many reported moving funds elsewhere to pursue yields of 8% or more. Grvt’s upcoming products aim to reduce the separation between earning yield and deploying capital for trading. “Traders shouldn’t have to choose between putting their capital to work and keeping it ready to trade,” Hong said. “Grvt 2.0 is designed around a single self-custodial balance that can support both activities.” Founded in 2022, Grvt currently supports perpetual futures across approximately 200 cryptocurrency and real-world asset markets. The GRVT token launched in July 2026 and confers no ownership, profit or other economic rights. Further details are available in the full announcement.
