Python is the most popular programming language. It is very easy to learn, highly expressive and very powerful with a huge existing community.
But there is some limitation to put Python in microcontroller because it requires a lot of memory and doesn’t allow low-level access.

Follow our tutorial on how to program ESP32 board using MicroPython that can overcome this limitation.

BASIC COMPARISON BETWEEN MICROPYTHON AND ARDUINO

MicroPython is a tiny open source Python programming language interpretor that runs on small embedded development boards. The simplicity of the Python programming language makes MicroPython an excellent choice for beginners who are new to programming and hardware. In this tutorial, we will talk about the basic comparison between MicroPython and Arduino.

PROGRAM MICRO:BIT V2 USING MICROPYTHON

One of the languages that micro:bit understand is Python🐍 programming language. The version of Python that runs on the BBC micro:bit is called MicroPython. MicroPython is a lean and efficient implementation of the Python 3 programming language that includes a small subset of the Python standard library and is optimized to run on microcontrollers and in constrained environments.

In this video, I program the micro:bit V2 using MicroPython. Watch this video to know how to program your micro:bit V2 using MicroPython.

PHYSICAL COMPUTING WITH RASPBERRY PI PICO

I'm sure that all of you know that Raspberry Pi Foundation has launched the 1st microcontroller board named Raspberry Pi Pico. If you have it, you can start connecting basic electronic components to your Raspberry Pi Pico and writing programs to control and sense them.

In this video, we have covered the basic programming that includes:
βœ… Install MicroPyton for Raspberry Pi Pico
βœ… LED blinking
βœ… Push-button as an input
βœ… Switch LED on and off using a push button

BURGLAR ALARM USING RASPBERRY PI PICO.

The burglar alarm🚨 is a system that uses a motion sensor (PIR sensor) to detect intruders. The system will flash the light and beep the alarm whenever it detects any intruder.

In this video, we make this Burglar Alarm using Raspberry Pi Pico. Watch this video till the end because we manage to detect a "cute intruder" at the end of this video.

READ AND LOG INTERNAL TEMPERATURE DATA IN RASPBERRY PI PICO INTO .TXT FILE.

Raspberry Pi Pico can store all the programs that we have been writing in it. It’s equivalent function to the microSD card in your Raspberry Pi, or the hard drive or solid-state drive in your laptop or desktop computer, which means that whatever you save there stays in place even when you unplug your Pico’s micro USB cable😎.

In this video, we will read and log the internal temperature sensor data on Raspberry Pi Pico into .txt file. Watch this video to know more about it.
