🇩🇪 Berlin dialect!
You probably already know that in Germany there are is a huge number of dialects (about 50 🔥). And the capital is no exception. Here it is called Berlinerisch, and speaking it - Berlinlinern.
🇫🇷For example, one such word came from French - blümerant, which is short for bleu mourant - dead blue. (Mir is janz blümerant = I feel bad).
In addition, Jewish refugees who settled in the city since the sixteenth century influenced the dialect. As a result, such words as Schlamassel (failure), Stuss (nonsense), Mischpoche (relatives) arose in the Berlin dialect.
🇩🇪 Berliners themselves love their dialect, and constantly use it in everyday speech. The most common dialect can be heard in parts of the city such as Pankow, Spandau and Treptow-Köpenick.
📌The Berlin dialect is characterized by the replacement of the accusative case with the dative, which was called "Accudativ". An example would be a phrase like “Ick liebe dir”. Often endings in words are omitted, and some letters change as follows:
▪️g goes to j (instead of “gut” they say “jut”)
▪️ei changes to ee (“kleine” will sound like “kleene”)
▪️s is often replaced by t (not “es”, but “et”)
▪️ch goes to ck (not ich, but ick)
📌 Often words merge with each other, for example: sehen Sie - sehnSe
From a narrative sentence in a Berlin dialect it is easy to make an interrogative. To do this, it is enough to just put the question wa? (was?)

(was?)
