DEMILICH WILL TOUR THE USA AGAIN ON MAY!

This is Nomat Ibant from Demilich Chakra Center, nice to see you again. Well, we're not seeing each other, it's just me seeing you. And your family. But that's not the point of this posting.

Demilich will tour the USA on May 2020. This time they will hit both coasts, and even touch – in a perfectly non-harassing way – a small and intimate part of Canada!

The official announcement was made yesterday, but it was an impossible day for the band itself to announce anything. First of all, Jarkko's homeopathologist and foreign language mantra teacher pointed out that Thursday and number 27 mean bad karma. You knew this, I'm sure. Also, Aki's reiki healer (orientation: opening horizons with speech) noted that Aki's sensitivity doesn't allow anything to be published unless he's prepared for it for 24 hours after the initial impression and the energy waves of the public. Lauri's (mostly secular) coffee enema operator / hair splitter opposed, for important reasons unknown. Above all, Antti was missing in present tense, and still is.

I personally don't believe anything of the above. Then again, I'm just a spokesperson. Do remember, though, that I saw a great, great danger in the alignment of The Moon and Venus.

Oh, and if you're worried, we are sure that the leader of the band will be found well before the tour! Yes, I'm talking about Guru Amskam, of course. He'll also be able to pull Antti back to this burpous reality, just like that.

A note to everyone asking for extra dates for the tours: Unfortunately this is all we had time for. We are currently trying to arrange a two week tour in Europe in late autumn. More about that when things start clearing up. Also, we have some other shows already booked, but we cannot talk about them, yet. You'll hear about it when it's time, so don't worry.

––– NEW MATERIAL READY AND IN THE WORKS –––

Demilich has 2.1 new songs structurally done. We have to come up with lyrics, solos and some little things, but those are basically ready. Next, we will create 1.9 songs more, and then we're ready to record them all. So, you won't be getting a full-length, but it's not going to be an EP, either. Neither overly long songs filling the album length. Something possibly better. We'll tell you more when it's time, hopefully this year!

We had the Nespithe shirt competition running many years ago, but nothing happened after that. I already know the winner, and we're currently working on the designs, so please give us a short while more! There will also be a huge amount of new designs and products coming! The plan is to reveal all of this before Mexico, or then quickly after that.

Looking for: A guitar pedal maker for either a Demilich branded distortion pedal or a single handmade item.

I have fallen in love with my combination of Boss HM-2 and DS-2 blended together with Xotic X-Blender. It’s problematic, though, as I have to carry all that metal (as in material) around the world, re-assemble the pedal board, and hope it works when I hit the stage for 15 minute line checks. So, I would love to have this as one pedal.

Specs:
– A combined level knob for both distortions, or then separate.
– Boss HM-2 part with knobs from none to all. If none, all are on ten, of course!
– Boss DS-2 part with a distortion knob, possibly a tone one. Turbo mode can be always on.
– An adjustable signal blender, preferably with some tone knobs.
– One input, one output.

I don’t know about the legal things regarding cloning the parts, unless it’s created by Boss, but I know there are various imitations of HM-2 in the market, at least.

If you know an interested party that could create such a monster, even license it for mass production, I’d love to hear of it!

Hi, it’s Nomat Ibant from Demilich Corn Flour Center, nice to shake hands with you again! Figuratively, of course, in these times of coronavirus and you masturbating wildly and still not washing your hands properly.

Demilich will head tomorrow towards the west to play three gigs in Mexico. The dates are:

Yes, we have got the whole band together. Antti was found and seems to be okay, although he’s blabbing about losing history or future or something. We cannot comprehend him completely, but we did a test drive and he’s perfectly good for growling too pushy, playing the guitar mostly correctly, and throwing awful jokes in the middle of the songs.

The other guys feel fine and dandy, too, although they are damn hungry and thirsty due to the usual confinement between gigs. Gnawing the bars is bad for your teeth, boys!

DEMILICH HAS TO CANCEL THE MEXICO TOUR

We, the members of Demilich, are unbelievably sorry to say that we have had to stay home and cancel the Mexico tour. We were supposed to leave yesterday, and woke up to the news that president trump had banned all airline travel from Europe.

We traveled by train all the way to Helsinki airport, just in case things would be sorted out. We found out we could have, possibly but not definitely, been able to get to Mexico, but unfortunately nobody could guarantee us any kind of return back home. The airline company has canceled all flights that fly through the USA, and they could not route us through any other location. The risk would have been on us only.

We are now living in the middle of a pandemic and people making political decisions based on bullying. We suspect the pandemic/decisions will get even worse until it all starts clearing out before summer, hopefully well before that. But that doesn't help this case.

Lo sentimos. We will try to make this up to you people some day soon.

DEMILICH POSTPONES THE NORTH AMERICA TOUR TO SPRING 2021

I guess this is what happens when you make fun of coffee enemas.

We – Demilich and Perdition Booking – have made a decision to postpone Demilich's North America tour by a year, to spring 2021. I assume nobody needs any explanation on the reason these days, but just in case you just re-appeared from a retreat after Jared Leto, we can tell you that everything's fucked up here IRL. Just go back.

We will try to do all those places that we were supposed to do this year, and will try to add some extra locations there. Of course, it's possible we'll get to enjoy SARS-CoV-3 then just because some filthy animal torturer decides to grind some poor wolverine's anus with his mostly absent teeth. Or something.

Well hello! It’s Nomat Ibant from Submarine Corps of Demilich, nice to throw a sterile air fist bump with you again! Via the Internet, of course. Even safer.

Antti went underground on March, after the disappointments with Mr Coward Nintee cancelling basically every plan he had for this year. Yesterday, he called me and mumbled something about being back online soon, with "a proper story about [his] feelings and this [bleeping] [bleep] called life."

In the meantime, as I want to keep on being the very active Demilich PR manager that I have always been, I decided to let you know a tale on how postal services work in The Blessed Year Ov 2020.

An anonymous Demilich Shop (https://demili.ch/shop) customer from a town somewhere in Western ex-EU – let's call him with a short pseudonym, "Lewis H. from Lichfield, UK" – ordered a beautiful shirt from the store. Size M, if it's of importance to you. The shirt was sent immediately in Economy mail, and we were expecting a small delay due to the virus and economical nature of the shipment.

It took mere 118 days for him to get the package. That's like almost four (4) months before the bloody item arrived at his home! Within Europe! I could have walked there in 19 days 12 hours! Meaning, I could have done the round trip three (3) times in those 118 days. Walking non-stop, of course, but I've been going to the gym last two years now, so definitely not a problem for me. Antti, on the other hand, would have stopped by the first bar for "just one IPA, no more", and would have been back home in two days after drinking gallons of yummy beer and traveling a total distance of a kilometer or so.

The moral of the story: The next time you order from web in these weird times, please don't be mad if the shipment doesn't arrive immediately. Be understanding. Especially if it's our web store. Fortunately (almost) all of our customers have been very compassionate and lovable!

And yes, that's really the name of the place. Lichfield. I so wanna move there to rock'n'roll. "Lewis H. from Lichfield, UK" also wanted to share this fact with us: "Interestingly enough its said that 300 christians were martyred in Lichfield and that Lichfield actually means field of the dead."
