The rescheduling period is changing from *3 working days to 10 working days*. This means the current 3-day clear window for making changes to your test date will no longer apply. It is essential that you log in to your student portal on April 8th to check your last day to make changes, and also to update your candidate details if needed.
The *DVSA* will also be sending an official email about these changes. If you’ve already updated your details, you should have received that email by now.
We’ve attempted to verify this on the DVSA website, but the updated cancellation policy is not yet reflected online. That’s why we’re giving you this early heads-up — to help you *avoid any potential loss of time or money*.

*What is being trialled*
*During the trial they will be trying 3 changes:*
*reducing the amount of stops during the driving test from four to three*
*changing the number of tests that include an* *emergency stop from one in three driving tests to one in seven.*
