C-Sat-Fi (C-DOT Satellite WiFi) is based on the optimal utilization of wireless and satellite communication to extend connectivity to the unserved areas including the remote islands and difficult terrains. Besides offering the ease of deployment, the solution is ideally suited to addressing disasters and emergencies when no other means of communication are available.

The technology will help providing Wi-Fi in all the villages through GramNet with connectivity between 10mbps to 100 mbps speed.

India’s first ‘Garbage Café’ will soon be opened in the city of Ambikapur in north Chhattisgarh.

In this unique Cafe' poor people and rag pickers will get free food in exchange for one kilogram of plastic, while breakfast will be provided if half a kilogram of plastic is brought to the cafe.

The collected garbage will be sold at Solid Liquid Resources Management Centre. It would further be turned into granules and will then be used in the construction of roads in the city.

अंडमान और निकोबार कमांड (Andaman and Nicobar Command- ANC) ने अंडमान एवं निकोबार द्वीपसमूह सैन्य अभ्यास 2019 (Defence of Andaman & Nicobar Islands Exercise 2019- DANX 19) का आयोजन किया।


✔️प्रमुख तथ्य:

वर्ष 2019 में इस संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास के दूसरे संस्करण का आयोजन 14-18 अक्तूबर, 2019 के मध्य किया गया।

इस संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास में भारतीय सेना, नौसेना, वायुसेना और तटरक्षक बल के सैनिकों ने भाग लिया।

इस सैन्य अभ्यास के पहले संस्करण का आयोजन वर्ष 2017 में किया गया था।

✔️उद्देश्य:

अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीपसमूह की क्षेत्रीय अखंडता सुनिश्चित करना।

⏩ अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीपसमूह:

यह भारत का एक केंद्रशासित प्रदेश है जो बंगाल की खाड़ी में स्थित है।

अंडमान और निकोबार इस द्वीपसमूह के दो सबसे बड़े द्वीप हैं जिन्हें 10° अक्षांश रेखा विभाजित करती है।

अंडमान के द्वीप पर महा अंडमानी, ओंगे, जारवा और सेंटीनलीज़ जैसी नीग्रो जनजातियाँ निवास करती हैं, जबकि निकोबार द्वीप पर निकोबारी तथा शोम्पेन नामक मंगोलायड जनजातियाँ रहती हैं।
