As you are aware about the recent collapse of the suspension bridge over *Macchuriver in Morbi, Gujarat* resulted in a huge tragedy of the irreparable loss of human lives. This tragedy is unthinkable and has left the entire nation in a state of shock and sorrow.
In view of this IAStructE is organizing a Panel Discussion on
*"Failure of Morbi Suspension Bridge* –
*Are We Learning Lessons From Such Tragedies?"*
with some of the distinguished structural engineering experts, both from the industry and academia to discuss why such failures happened and how we can mitigate the risk of such failures in the future.
*The Panel Discussion is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 16 November 2022 from 04.00 PM to 06:00 PM (IST).*
The participants attending the panel discussion would be enriched and will gain deeper insight by listening to the views of the expert panelists on the subject. Registration is free.
