Here is a great video for beginners to learn to read the Varshaphala chart, or the Solar return chart as its known in the west. Each year when the Sun returns to its exact degree and minute that it was at when you were born, a chart is cast for that year. So you get a new chart each year, and this chart can be read to predict events for the next year. Its likely a lot of the reason why birthdays became an important tradition. The last week Mercury has been retrograde in Rohini nakshatra, a star of growth and popularity. And the last couple days with the Moon crossing the ashadhas, its been a produtive week I feel.
I found myself doing a lot of research on this Rohini star the last week. Finally understood what the snake yoni thing is all about. The nakshatra yoni is really embellished and misunderstood in the modern youtube world of nakshatras, but I digress…

Its still an ongoing research and an ongoing course but I’ve added 3 videos to the nakshatra course this week.

Today and tomorrow the Moon will be crossing the purva and uttara bhadrapada nakshatras, these are sacred and blessed stars that are great for spiritual practices and seeing the sacred in the mundane. They are great stars for rituals, yagyas, sacrifices, yogic practices, etc.
Its also a good time for that because Mars is in Uttara Bhadrapada, and about to move into a very auspicious conjunction with Jupiter in Aries. Mars is fire and Jupiter is guru, proper guidance. A window is approaching where our efforts and 🔥 may be able to run us into someone or something that can more properly guide us than we previously were able to on our own.

Today the Moon is moving from the worldly Mrigashira nakshatra into the very spiritual and unworldly Ardra nakshatra, ruled by Rudra. Mrigashira is about seeking and searching for that worldly nectar of life, symbolized by Soma, the nectar of immortality.

Ardra contrasts this and is about seeking spiritual immortality, and destroying the egos need for comforts and worldly pleasures.

Today the Moon is in aries, and in Ashwini nakshatra, a “light and swift” star. It should be more of a productive monday than most. Dont overthink things today, just act as best you can, and leave the results to God.
