📢 URGENT GLOBAL STRIKE📢

‼️Internal announcement please read everything carefully ‼️

#StandWithUkraine
👉 It's official: a series of strikes will be conducted in the next weeks starting on Thursday March 3rd!

🇺🇦 Ukraine NEEDS your support.
Fridays For Future Ukraine is calling out all local groups to take to the streets all over the globe. The Russian military has invaded Ukraine and is repeatedly attacking and taking over Ukrainian territories.
Military invasion is an evident violation of human rights, especially in the face of climate and pandemic crises. We are uniting to highlight the need for urgent and clear action in support of Ukraine.
Fossil fuel capitalism is one of the roots of this war and many others conflicts and crises around the world.
That's why, during the next few weeks, we also want to call out the era of fossil fuel, capitalism and imperialism that allows these systemic oppressions. We demand a world where leaders prioritize #PeopleNotProfit .✊
Demonstrate your support and solidarity, #StandWithUkraine! 🇺🇦💙

🎉 The narrative will be released later today as well as our call to action! Until there, start organising your local/national group strike.

If you don't have capacity to organise a local strike until Thursday, please join our digital strike. We will send more information about this soon! 👀

📢 GLOBAL STRIKE TOMORROW 📢
#NoMoreWars
#StandWithUkraine
‼️ Link for the sharepics below!

Background:
🇺🇦 Ukraine NEEDS your support.
We’re taking to the streets of cities all over the world tomorrow. Students, schoolchildren, and everyone else - we must stop our daily routine to call for an immediate end to all wars and acts of violence across the world from Ukraine to the Middle East, Afghanistan & beyond. The world is watching Ukraine today, after ignoring the wars in South Sudan, Iraq, Nigeria and the many regions in the global south that have been affected by imperialist and fossil fuels wars during the last decades. We have to end not only the wars but our reliance on fossil fuels in order to break away from the constant cycles of violence in the world.
That's why, during the next weeks, we want to call out the era of fossil fuels, capitalism and imperialism that allows these systemic oppressions. We demand a world where leaders prioritize #PeopleNotProfit .✊
Demonstrate your support and solidarity, #StandWithUkraine! 🇺🇦💙

🔥 23.06. ACTION: #G7ShowUsTheMoney 🔥
Ahead of the G7 summit hosted by Germany this weekend, Rise Up is protesting together in front of the German Bundestag (parliament) together with FFF Berlin to demand the G7 to pay for their pollution. Those most affected have contributed least to the climate crisis, the planet is burning and our people are dying. Meanwhile, the biggest polluters , G7, are still not paying for the destruction they have caused!

So we invite everyone to join our action for climate finance and a focus on loss and damage.

Join us on Thursday, 23.06., 10:00 in front of the Bundestag or online with the hashtag #G7ShowUsTheMoney. Share this message and sharepic and invite everyone to join! 💸
