After months of planning, building, and marketing, DVApply.et is on hold. ⏸

I launched it to make the DV application process easier and more convenient for Ethiopians. Seeing people trust the platform and become customers even before DV-2027 registration opened was the most rewarding part of this journey. 🚀

But registration hasn’t opened as expected, so the launch is paused until it does. It’s disappointing after all the work, but I don’t see this as a failure. I’m proud of what we built.

The biggest lesson: building a product isn’t just about writing code. It’s about understanding a real problem, creating a solution, and reaching the people who actually need it.

I hope the day comes when registration opens and DVApply.et gets to do what it was built for.

Meanwhile, I’m already working on a new project, and I’ll keep sharing the journey and the lessons along the way. Something new is coming before the end of 2027.
