FPL Injury Updates - Part Two
29/01/2021
😇 Southampton - Kyle #Walker-Peters still needs a little bit of time. I don’t know how long, but he will not be available for this game on the weekend."
🔵⚪️ West Brom - Robert #Snodgrass looks to have shaken off the knock (knee) that forced him off on Tuesday night. Grady #Diangana (hamstring) is back in training - likely to be in the squad. Karlan #Grant came through 60-minutes against Man City without any problems.
⚪️ Leeds - Bielsa confirms Diego #Llorente could be out for up to a month. "It's a muscular injury and he is going to be out of the team for three or four weeks.
🔵⚪️ Brighton - Nothing new in terms of injuries from Wednesday night. Tariq #Lamptey is still two-three weeks away, but Danny #Welbeck is making good progress and the striker is hoping to begin training next week with the group.
🦊 Leicester - Jamie #Vardy is six days post-op. "He was sore but he’s on schedule for when we expect him back. We’re looking at hopefully getting back in the next 7-10 days." Wilfried #Ndidi has a "slight (hamstring) tear" which is expected to keep him out for around 7-10 days.
🔪 Sheffield United - Chris Wilder was giving nothing away ahead of the trip to Man City. "I'll be honest, I am going to straight bat [any questions] about injuries. I'm not going to be an open book about when players are back." Enda #Stevens is "hopefully" only a short-term issue. #Egan is back available after suspension
🔴 Liverpool - No chance for #Fabinho this weekend. Joel #Matip (ankle) will have a scan this afternoon... Klopp believes he should know more in 3-4 hours.
⚪️ Fulham - Tom #Cairney and Terence #Kongolo remain sidelined with knee and hamstring injuries respectively. "Everyone else is fine." Antonee Robinson returns after completing a three-match ban.
🔫 Arsenal - #Partey and #SmithRowe will be assessed throughout the build-up to GW21 and a decision will be made closer to kick-off. "They have some discomfort in different parts. We will have to see how they evolve. We still have some days until the game - let’s see how they recover."
Arteta to assess his squad. "We had a day off yesterday. We will be training today and we will see how everybody is. I think Dani #Ceballos will be training with the squad in the next few days, Pablo #Mari ?probably as well."
Obviously, #Odegaard will be joining us as well. It's a little bit early to decide [if he's ready to start]. Let's see how he goes in training." Kieran #Tierney is among those who will need to prove his fitness after missing the win at Southampton due to a calf issue.
#Aubameyang remains a doubt for Saturday. "I don't know [if he will face United]," said Arteta. "I spoke with him yesterday. Things are looking better, but we are going to have to wait and see. I don't know [if he will have to quarantine after his travel]."

FPL Daily Injury Updates (07/03/22) 🏥 :
#Ngakia (hamstring) and #King (hamstring precautionary) both missed out through injury.
Takehiro #Tomiyasu (calf) and Emile #SmithRowe (Covid) both missed out on yesterday's matchday squad
RR : "#Varane and #Shaw tested positive with Covid unfortunately in midweek. #Edi trained well in the last 3 days but, at the end, he didn’t feel quite well enough to be able to play. And #Cristiano had some problems with his hip flexor on Friday and since then, he didn’t train."
West Ham allay injury fears: “Jarrod (#Bowen) underwent an MRI scan in London on Sunday morning and thankfully no significant injury has occurred. He will continue to be monitored by the medical team and will undergo further examination in the coming days.”
#Thiago, #Firmino and #Matip return to full training ahead of the Champions League tie with Inter. "We will have to see how they react. Thiago was only a week out. Joel was 3-4 days so will be fine. Bobby was first session, might make sense to give him more days."
