⭐️ AWS outage drama: AI vs Engineers?

A 13-hour AWS outage (Dec 2025) was reportedly caused by Amazon’s own internal AI coding tool called Kiro

What happened:
▶️ The AI allegedly deleted & rebuilt part of the infrastructure
▶️ Engineers say: “the AI did it”
▶️ System logs suggest: “a human approved it”

So who’s responsible?

▶️ Amazon says it was actually human error (misconfigured access), not the AI.

Finally:
AI tools were heavily involved in the outage, but there’s debate over whether the blame lies with the AI or with how humans used it.

This is just the beginning of AI + engineering conflicts.
