Risk Management in EASY Bots: what you control (and what the Cloud .set does NOT change)

One important rule in our ecosystem:
Cloud .set files do not affect Money Management (MM).

Cloud .set updates the strategy logic parameters (entries/exits, filters, SL/TP logic, etc.).
But risk settings are always yours — you define how much the system is allowed to lose, and when it must stop.

1) Daily risk limits (Balance Protection)
In the EA inputs you can set daily boundaries, for example:
- Max Profit Day (%)
- Max Loss Day (%)

These parameters define the daily “stop conditions” for the system.
Cloud .set does not override them. You set them once — and they remain under your control.

2) Flexible Money Management (MM) modes
You can choose the MM mode that matches your style and risk tolerance.
The two simplest and most common options are:

A) Fixed Lot
You set a constant lot size (e.g., 0.01), and every trade uses that volume.

B) Fixed Risk (Percent)
You set a risk percentage (e.g., 1%).
In this mode the EA calculates the position size so that if Stop Loss is reached, the planned loss is limited to about 1% of the free margin available at the moment the trade is opened.

Important note:
Real execution can differ due to spreads, slippage, and gaps. Risk limits are a control mechanism, not a guarantee.

3) Why we separate Cloud .set and MM
Strategy settings need adaptation to changing market conditions.
Risk settings should stay stable and consistent — because they reflect your personal limits, account size, and comfort level.

That’s why:
- Cloud .set = strategy configuration (updated on our backend)
- MM + daily limits = your risk policy (configured by you)
