Egypt has postponed the introduction of stricter entry rules for citizens of Uzbekistan until 1 March 2027. Until then, they can visit Sharm el-Sheikh and other parts of the Sinai Peninsula without visa, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry announced.
“Through the diplomatic efforts of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Uzbekistan’s embassy in Egypt, and through direct negotiations with the Egyptian side, an agreement has been reached to reconsider the previously adopted decision to tighten entry rules for citizens of Uzbekistan traveling to Egypt,” the ministry said.

Sindarov’s preparation and participation in international tournaments, including the upcoming match for the chess crown, as well as work with coaches, are being carried out with the support of the National Bank of Uzbekistan.
Sindarov scored 20.5 points, leaving behind the world's leading players Rameshbabu Pragnanandhaa, Fabiano Caruana and Hikaru Nakamura.
His spectacular victory over Nakamura was named the best game of the tournament.
