🔊 SCIATICA
WHAT IS SCIATICA?
💡 Sciatica is the result of a neurological problem in the back or an entrapped nerve in the pelvis or buttock. There are a set of neurological symptoms such as:
➡️ Pain (intense pain in the buttock)
➡️ Lumbosacral radicular leg pain
➡️ Numbness
➡️ Muscular weakness
➡️ Gait dysfunction
➡️ Sensory impairment
➡️ Sensory disturbance
➡️ Hot and cold or tinglings or burning sensations in the legs
➡️ Reflex impairment
➡️ Paresthesias or dysesthesias and oedema in the lower extremity that can be caused by the irritation of the sciatic nerves (the lumbar nerve L4 and L5 and the sacral nerves S1,S2 and S3)
CAUSES OF PAIN
💡 Pain is a result of irritation of the sciatic nerve. it can be constant or intermittend. The pain may be worsened by certain movements like coughing or sneezing (these movements increase the intra abdominal pressure). Sitting, bending, prolonged standing or rising from a sitting position can aggravate or increase the pain.
PAIN PATTERNS
💡 In regards to relief the pain, the supine position decreases the pressure on the herniated disc and will subsequently decrease pain. Pain is located along the distribution of the nerve and can be felt in the back, buttocks, knee and leg. It only radiates to one side of the leg and can result in reduced power, reflexes and sensation in the nerve root. Also gait dysfunction (toe walking, foot drop and knee buckling), paresthesias or dysesthesias are frequent neurological symptoms.
SYMPTOMS BASED ON NERVE COMPRESSION
💡 Sciatica can be caused by the compression or irritation of nerve L4, L5, S1, S2 and S3. The sciatica symptoms depend on which nerve is compressed or irritated.
◾ L4: When the L4 nerve is compressed or irritated the patient feels pain, tingling and numbnessiIn the thigh. The patient also feels weak when straightening the leg and may have a diminished knee jerk reflex.
◾ L5: When the L5 nerve is compressed or irritated the pain, tingling and numbness may extend to the foot and big toes.
◾ S1: When the S1 nerve is compressed or irritated the patient feels pain, tingling and numbness on the outer part of the foot. The patient also experiences weakness when elevating the heel off the ground and standing on tiptoes. The ankle jerk reflex may be diminished.

🔈WHAT IS T4 SYNDROME?
T4 syndrome, also known as Upper Thoracic Syndrome refers to the pain in the upper back and is a much under-recognized or diagnosed condition. The spinal cord is divided into 5 segments: Cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral and coccyx. The cervical segment has 7 segments (C1-C7), the thoracic has 12 segments (T1-T12), the lumbar has 5 segments (L1-L5), the sacral also has 5 segments which are fused (S1-S5), the coccyx has only 1 segment.
T4 syndrome typically indicates pain in the 4th vertebrae of the thoracic segment of the spine. T4 syndrome is 3-4 times more common in females than in males.
💡 The Typical Symptoms of T4 Syndrome or Upper Thoracic Syndrome Include:
➡️ Diffused pain in arms
➡️ Paraesthesia in whole arm or the fore-arm
➡️ Extreme hot or cold temperatures of hand
➡️ Heavy feeling in the upper extremities
➡️ Non-dermatomal pains or aches in the forearm or arm
➡️ A crushing or tight band like pain
➡️ Recurrent complain of discontinuous pain in and around the scapular region or posterior thoracic pain
➡️ Sensations like tingling of pins or needles or numbness of the arm.
💡 What Can Cause T4 Syndrome or Upper Thoracic Syndrome?
The reason for the development of T4 syndrome depends on injury to the T4 segment of the spinal cord due to repeated bending, arching, lifting or twisting type of movement thus causing injury to the facet joints in that area. It can also be caused due to poor posture like protruding the head forward while sitting or standing, and slouching. It is common in people with cervical lordosis or cervico-thoracic kyphosis.
Women are more prone to develop the syndrome due to their structural differences from men. As the breasts develop, there is an increase in the amount of weight in the frontal part and to maintain that many would bend a little forward. The heavier the breast, the chances are more to develop T4 syndrome in women.
Treatment for T4 Syndrome or Upper Thoracic Syndrome
The treatment of T4 Syndrome solely depends on physiotherapy. An experienced physiotherapist will provide manual therapy with an impairment based approach. The sessions would start with manual therapy and slowly would progress to home exercise. The sessions would include some or combinations of the following techniques:
➡️ Joint manipulation and mobilization of the thoracic and cervical spine
➡️ Soft tissue massage
➡️ Taping or bracing
➡️ Electrotherapy viz., ultrasound or laser
➡️ Dry needling
➡️ Training in Pilates
➡️ Postural correction
➡️ Stretching
➡️ Exercises for flexibility and stabilization of the core

♻️The Debate Between Tukh Malanga And Chia Seeds♻️
Let’s get one thing straight: tukh malanga and chia seeds are NOT the same thing. It’s a debate that is often kick-started on many forums when someone states that they’re interchangeable. We will try to explain the difference between the two (very similar) seeds and the health benefits that they both offer.
💥Tukh Malanga are basil seeds
They’re derived from the Thai basil leaf plant whereas chia seeds come from the Salvia hispanica plant (from the mint family). Basil seeds are most commonly found in the South-Asian regions and the latter is more common in Central and South America. Which means that basil seeds are cheaper in Pakistan but chia seeds end up costing a lot more.
💥Differences of the seeds
From afar, both the seeds may look similar but upon closer inspection you can see that the shapes and even the color differ.
When soaked in water, they will expand into a gelatinous substance. However, basil seeds retain a crunch in the center of the expanded ball of goo.
They are both nutritious but in different capacities.
🔸️ Chia seeds are rich in anti-oxidants, omega 3 fatty acids which help raise ‘good cholesterol’ and prevent digestive ailments.
🔸️Tukh malanga helps the body cool down, is also good for digestion and is rich in iron.
Chia seeds do not need to be soaked in advance, simply use them as a topping for salads, smoothie bowls, etc.
👉How to use chia seeds and basil seeds:
Chia seeds can be eaten soaked, raw, toasted, ground- whatever you prefer.
Raw and toasted chia seeds are best as toppings for salads, as an addition to breads (even your regular roti), or along with your granola/cereal/smoothie bowl. Try tossing some toasted chia seeds in a bowl of spaghetti with olive oil, lemon juice, fresh basil, salt, pepper and parmesan.
Tukh Malanga and chia seeds can both be soaked to expand (20 minutes are enough for both, or you could save prep time by soaking overnight).
Use soaked seeds in drinks (think roohafza for a faluda feel, or lemonade for something lighter) or in puddings. Chia pudding recipes are everywhere on the internet but a quick one would be something like this:
2-4 tbsp. seeds, soaked for an hour or overnight in 1 cup milk (coconut, almond, soy, or just regular)
Add in flavorings like orange zest, vanilla essence, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.
Sweeten it with stevia, honey, maple syrup (or just skip this step all together)
Top with fresh/frozen/dried fruits, nuts and/or granola
You must soak basil seeds before consuming- but they expand faster than chia seeds.
Tukh Malanga is a great, quick addition to your everyday cold drinks (even water!) to keep your digestive tract on point- try it in lychee or watermelon juice. You could even set it with some sweetener and gelatin as a topping for fruit-based cheesecakes (YUM).

♻️ THINGS YOU NEED TO AVOID FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR KIDNEYS ♻️
💥 SO HERE ARE THE 6 MAIN CAUSES OF KIDNEY DISEASE:
◾1. #Dont_Delay_Going_To_The_Bathroom.
Keeping your urine in your bladder too long is a bad idea.A full bladder can cause bladder damage. The urine left in the bladder multiplies the bacteria quickly. Once the urine returns to the ureter and kidneys, toxic substances can lead to kidney infections, then urinary infections, then nephritis and even uremia. When nature calls - do it as soon as possible.
◾2. #Dont_Eat_Too_Much_Salt.
You should not eat more than 5.8 grams of salt a day.
◾3. #Dont_Eat_too_Much_Meat.
Too much protein in your diet is harmful to your kidneys.Protein digestion produces ammonia, a very destructive toxin for the kidneys.More meat equals more kidney damage.S eat meat moderately.
◾4. #Dont_Drink_Too_Much_Caffeine.
Caffeine is a component of many sodas and soft drinks. This increases your blood pressure and your kidneys begin to suffer. So you should reduce the amount of Coke or Pepsi you drink every day.
◾5. #Drink_Enough_Warm_Water.
Our kidneys must be well hydrated to perform their duties well.If we do not drink enough, the toxins can begin to accumulate in the blood because there is not enough fluid to drain them through the kidneys.Drink more than 10 glasses of water a day. There is an easy way to check if you're drinking enough water: look at the color of your urine; the lighter the color, the better.
◾6. #Late_Treatment.
Treat all your health problems early and have your health checked regularly.Allah will protect you and your family against all diseases this year.

* How to help your body recover from an illness.*
* Drink more mineral water *
To restore the water balance in tissues, a person needs water. But not just any water, but enriched water. Ideally, enriched with magnesium and mineral salts.
* Cook protein meals.*
White blood cells, the main defenders of our immune system, are made up of proteins. The best and easiest way is to incorporate meals rich in quality protein into your menu. Quality farm meats, fish, and eggs are high in protein and essential micronutrients like iron.
* Make up for vitamin gaps.*
Iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin D are all elements that start to be dramatically lacking if you've recently been sick.
* Take care of your microbiota.*
Eat fermented foods. These include kefir, farm cheese, sauerkraut, pickles and tomatoes. These contain prebiotics and probiotics, which enrich the gut microflora and benefit all stages of digestion.

TOP 7 UNNECESSARY DRUGS PEOPLE GIVE THEIR BABIES
1. Multivitamins - Breast milk contains the right amount of all the vitamins your baby needs in the first 6 months (except vitamin D)
2. Antibiotics - Should never be used without a doctor’s prescription
3. Anti-motility drugs - Such as nospamine. Most babies who have colic will get better without any medication. Stop drug abuse!
4. Paracetamol - Paracetamol is an essential first aid drug that always comes in handy. But it is also likely to be abused. Don’t use routinely unless the baby has a fever. If fever continues after 48 hours consult a paediatrician. Indiscriminate use of Paracetamol and other painkillers can damage the immature liver and kidneys!
5. Teething drugs - Teething is a natural process, don’t get too worked up about it. Pain relief can be achieved with paracetamol. If your baby falls really sick while teething, you should take him/her to the clinic for proper examination.
6. Steroid-containing creams - Dermatitis is quite common in babies but they often outgrow it. Moisturizers and natural oils will suffice. For heat rash, zinc powders or creams will do. Stop exposing your baby to steroids, anti-fungal or anti-bacterial cream combo!
7. Herbal concoctions - Again, your baby’s liver is too immature to handle the metabolism of most herbs.
.
Always consult your doctor/pharmacist for guidance.
Be safe!

🔈CERVICOGENIC HEADACHE (CGH) Syndrome
• Chronic hemicranial pain that is referred to the head from either bony structures or myofascial soft tissues of the upper CSP, - OA, C1-3 segments.
• The C1-C3 nerves relay pain signals to the nociceptive nucleus of the head and neck, the trigeminocervical nucleus. This connection
is thought to be the cause for referred pain to the occiput and/or eyes.
• The trigeminocervical nucleus is a region of the upper cervical spinal cord where sensory nerve fibres in the descending tract of the trigeminal nerve (trigeminal nucleus caudalis) are believed to
interact with sensory fibres from the upper cervical roots. This functional convergence of upper cervical and trigeminal sensory pathways allows the bidirectional referral of painful sensations
between the neck and trigeminal sensory receptive fields of the face and head.
• A functional convergence of sensorimotor fibres in the spinal accessory nerve (CN XI) and upper cervical nerve roots ultimately converge with the descending tract of the trigeminal nerve and
might also be responsible for the referral of cervical pain to the head.
Important to differentiate between: Migraine without aura, Tension-type, and Cervicogenic
headache.
• In Cervicogenic Headache, patient may present with combination of:
- movement dysfunction in whole of Csp
- muscle function impairment
- upper cervical individual joint dysfunction
• Pain and tenderness in sensitive structures in the upper neck, fascia in the head, TMJ,
mandible.
• History is important, look for activities involving some repetitive movement
static posture, maybe previous injury.
• Usually Ipsilateral pain but it can be bi-lateral!
• Patient can report unsteadiness and light-headedness, but fainting is a red flag!

RECIPE FOR BLOCKAGE OF THE TUBE
Now getting directly to the recipe.
Add 1 tablespoon of the clove into your jug or bottle depends on the one you're using. add garlic (fresh garlic 🧄)one whole.
Peal off the back of the garlic and add it inside your jug ( 1garlic) . Men can also take it especially men with infection rather he's not going to take it long like a woman having tube blockage.
So after adding the garlic, add ginger.
remove the skin and cut it into five slices , put inside the jug. Next is the lime (not lemon) with the lime,do not peel off the back. Cut the lime into five parts and add them all inside your jug.
Then add bay leaf to the mixture(either dry one or fresh one) you'll need to add just three to four bay leaf . Then you need to add small amount of water into it about 1 litre of water before adding your white vinegar.( 1/2 tablespoon)
Adding the water to be half of the jug will be okay.
🛑 NOTE : You don't need to be drinking this with a cup but instead a shot cup, the one our men use for whiskey. You can also use your coffee cup .
White vinegar is available in the supermarket for those asking where it can be found.
After you’ve added everything together. you need to soak it for 24hours in the fridge not outside. The reason is when left outside it can get sour , so don’t do that. if you don’t have a fridge , then boil the recipe daily for 3-5 minutes, allow to cook and drink. Just know that you will make a new one daily .
After 24hours you start taking it one shot per day. And you need to take it maximum of one week before making another and generally to be used for 2 weeks .If you have had this tube blockage for a very long time , Remember tube can also get blocked by blood.
Blood that did not shed out after miscarriage ,do this recipe. It’s not only infection that’s blocks the womb. That's why I tell women that had miscarriage,no matter how many months it is ,go to the hospital for them to flush it out because if it stays there it'll start forming it owns clots .
If you have hydrosalpinx take this one to two weeks and then you'll see how it is.
Remember to use it before your menstruation.

Raise your injured leg and rest it against the wall next to the door frame. Keep your leg as straight as possible. You should feel a stretch in the back of your thigh. Hold this position for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times.
🔎 Standing calf stretch: Stand facing a wall with your hands on the wall at about eye level. Keep your injured leg back with your heel on the floor. Keep the other leg forward with the knee bent. Turn your back foot slightly inward (as if you were pigeon-toed). Slowly lean into the wall until you feel a stretch in the back of your calf. Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds. Return to the starting position. Repeat 3 times. Do this exercise several times each day.
