A little navbar win in Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1.
Android Biometric prompt now has a transparent navbar. This element is part of the system Settings application. Quite good, but they could have updated the window design at the same time, as we asked them to.

Here is the new Matter settings page in Google Play Services.
The changelog for the July Google Play system update mentioned "With the Matter Developer Preview, you can set up and share Matter devices between Matter ecosystems."
Now, apparently, Google plans to add a separate page called "Matter devices & services". it will allow you to "Pair and manage Matter devices across households".
Notably, this is the first app (or at least the page) in which Google has implemented the new Material Design 3 switches.

Google may release a small Pixel?
A Digital Chat Station informant on the Weibo forum claims that Google is working on a "small-screen flagship" codenamed Neila. It's also supposed to have the same design as the latest Pixel models.
Sounds pretty interesting. The codename "Neila" hasn't surfaced anywhere before. Whether Google is really preparing a "Mini Flagship," we have yet to find out.
