As haze conditions persist, the Government will have a second wave of N95 (or equivalent) mask distribution to protect more Singaporeans, especially vulnerable groups.
From 23 October 2026:
✅ Eligible Singaporeans from the first wave can collect two additional masks; and
✅ All Singaporeans aged 60 years and above (not eligible previously) can now collect two masks.
Let’s continue to stay safe and look out for one another, especially those who need more support!

Singapore is strengthening its laws to tackle transboundary haze more effectively.
The amendments to the Transboundary Haze Pollution Act (THPA) will allow us to:
• Establish the facts
• Hold errant entities more accountable
• Remove investigative and legal hurdles
• Ensure responsible action by entities
• Increase deterrence
Singapore will continue working with our neighbours to prevent the fires at source, while doing what we can within our jurisdiction and in accordance with international law.
