It's almost as though endless hours of edgy streaming are considered little more than background noise, while the prospect of people organizing in the real world attracts an entirely different level of attention.
Perhaps that's the distinction worth examining: the difference between people who spend their lives performing outrage for an audience and those who actually build networks, institutions, and communities beyond the internet.
