Ground-Up Initiative is a place to rest and recharge, free of societal expectations. Maybe even free of your own expectations. I rarely feel like I need to do โXโ or โYโ, that feeling just doesnโt feature at my time in GUI. Itโs a reminder that there is no need to rush beyond what itโs meant to be! When will your vegetables grow? When you go back week after week, you do see it grow, however it cannot be rushed. You cannot go, โplease grow fasterโ. Some things do take time, and you have to be patient with yourself. Even when we moved from old to new site, it took time for the new site to be what we designed it to be. And now, it looks really nice! This is a strong contrast to the rest of Singapore which is quite fast paced.โ
After a brief hiatus, we are happy to be back to share Ying Xuan's Human of Ground-Up Initiative story today! She calls herself the "climbing dancer". Find out more in Issue #12 ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ป
