Maine lobster industry fighting shutdown for ‘endangered whale’
Like the Canadian fishers and all the other food producers that have been regulated or shutdown since 2020 - in many cases there are fights going on in the courts. But what’s more significant is that all these legal battles flow from a calculated wave of shutdowns in disparate areas and industries, happening in concert, in a year while everyone was confused.
They shook up the nest and then threw a web over producers around the world.

Amish Farmer Faces $250K Fine, Jail Time And Losing His Sustainable Farm For Processing His Own Meat
A federal judge told Miller to cease and desist all meat sales, and sent armed U.S. marshals to search his property, farm store and freezers. They took an inventory of all his meat to make sure he doesn’t sell any or slaughter anymore animals.
Last summer, the judge also ordered Miller to pay $250,000 for “contempt of court,” and said he will also have to pay the salaries of the USDA investigators assigned to his case, $50,000 of which was due last week as a “good faith” payment to avoid jail.

Stunning footage of thousands (10k+) of dead cattle in Kansas yesterday.
It is reported these cattle died of excessive heat — while temps were not excessively high, there was also high humidity and no wind.
Others are speculating that this is exceptional even for summer heat, and this is another blatant destructive act perpetrated on our food supply.

‘Marching towards starvation’: UN warns of hell on earth if Ukraine war goes on
Unprecedented food shortages could spark riots in dozens of countries as Black Sea blockade adds to pressures, says WFP chief
Dozens of countries risk protests, riots and political violence this year as food prices surge around the world, the head of the food-aid branch of the United Nations has warned.
Director of the UN World Food Programme (WFP), said the world faced “frightening” shortages that could destabilise countries that depend on wheat exports from Ukraine and Russia.
“Even before the Ukraine crisis, we were facing an unprecedented global food crisis because of Covid and fuel price increases,” said Beasley. “Then, we thought it couldn’t get any worse, but this war has been devastating.”

Russia Sends Combine Harvesters to Occupied Regions of Ukraine
Russia has sent combine harvesters from Crimea to two Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine to cover a shortage of equipment needed to bring in the crop, a representative of a Russian-installed local administration said.
The official said the harvesters were needed because "the equipment that was there before had either been dismantled or taken away by the previous owners outside the regions", he said. [IAF: By those who are consistently working to destroy global food production]
Evgeny Balitsky, head of the occupation administration in Zaporizhzhia, said on social media that these combine harvesters were provided by Russia's agriculture ministry.

Another grain mill mysteriously burns to the ground completely after spontaneously combusting.
Somehow all fire control systems failed in this facility...and the hundreds of other food supply plants that have burned this year.
Somehow it's like the fire safety was shut off...
In June — just 60 days ago! — Grain Craft announced it had been acquired by the Baltimore-based Redwood Capital Investments, headed by billionaires Jim Davis and Stephen Bisciotti.
And — somehow — now they are collecting on the insurance as starvation looms.
(Remember just a few months back billionaire Glen Taylor roasted 5.3 million birds alive "because #BirdFlu" — but then fired all the workers and shutdown his poultry plant completely!? These billionaires are getting the call...)

#1 China. (also #1 consumer!)
#2 India. (and now exports are banned.)
#3 Russia (#1 exporter — but Black Sea shipping is affected, and sanctions stop some buyers)
#4 USA (terrible season, drought)
#5 France (drought has severely impacted yields)
#6 Canada (spotty harvest so far)
#7 Germany (drought has severely impacted yields - some est. 50%)
#10 Ukraine
It is these nations that the rest of the world upon for their bread. And bear in mind some major wheat exporters like Kazakhstan have banned wheat/flour exports. They declined to indicate why.
They neglected to provide a timeline for when this may be available again.
Regardless of the presumably forthcoming excuse, this is effectively an act of warfare as markets (domestic AND foreign) are now blind to what is going/coming from the US.
UPDATE: they now indicate there is an issue migrating to a new reporting system that should be resolved by mid september. Interesting date given futures contracts…

Vegetable/legume company HAK STOPS production for 6 weeks starting 2023. Energy prices make it infeasible to produce, says the market leader best known for the glass jars of applesauce, peas and brown beans.
"It is not only the high price, but also the uncertainty, says director Timo Hoogeboom. "Today it is two euros for a cubic meter of gas, it used to be three euros. We don't know what it will be in January or February. So to be on the safe side, we will remain closed."
If it is no longer possible to pass on the higher energy prices to consumers, the availability of products may ultimately also be compromised. "If companies have to sell below cost for months, things go wrong." He does not expect any empty shelves for HAK for the time being. "But I don't rule it out for the chain, especially in January, February and March." A temporary energy ceiling for companies could help, the HAK director thinks.
"Companies will first look at how they can absorb the costs themselves, but if that is no longer possible, they will have to scale down," confirms food economist Morren. "I expect this to happen more widely."

Researchers at UCSF recently disabled a gene in mice that controls "AMCase," the enzyme that breaks down chitin (found in insect protein). Without AMCase, the mice developed inflammation, lung disease and died UNLESS researchers "reverted" the genetic change or fed AMCase nasally.
The WEF has been pushing insect protein (Eat ze bugs!), and over the past few years, it has quietly entered the corporate food supply across the EU and even US.
When we see gene-altering mRNA now in pharmaceuticals and even food (see Terrana!), and chitin increasingly being added to the food, it's worth asking, with some high-octane speculation:
- Is FOOD being used to deliver a binary weapon in the depopulation agenda?
- Is chitin being introduced into the food supply precisely as human biology is being re-engineered to make it an even more potent toxin?
It sounds wild, but then, crazy proposals, like WEF-linked "bioethicist" Matthew Liao suggestion to engineer TINY humans to be allergic to MEAT to reduce our carbon footprint, reveal the technocrats really do think this way.
If the food supply is being weaponized against us, there is no better time to start gardening, raising animals, and returning to nature and truly regenerative solutions -- and I mean real ones, not the WEF's CRISPR-fueled biodigital convergence dressed up as sustainability.

Global Food Security at Risk as Ukrainian Grain Exports Drop 22% YoY
Due to Russia's blockade in the Black Sea, Ukrainian wheat/barley/maize exports are down 22% Year-over-Year.
Ukrainian attacks on Russian vessels in the Sea of Azov (a key route for ~25% of Russian grain exports) have caused them to throttle exports there, prompting wheat prices to jump 7% on the news.
Notably, production itself is still solid — the problem is getting the grains out, and that's not happening reliably right now.

Ukraine's Closed Ports Leaves Tomatoes Rotting in the Field
"Everything is slowly going to waste, it's already autumn and cold. There is nowhere to sell them or hand them in."
Russian strikes on the Greater Odesa ports since July 23 have all but halted maritime traffic, costing Ukraine more than $2bn in lost exports by the central bank's reckoning, as the drone war between the two countries shifts to crippling ports.
About 90% of Ukraine's farm exports used to go by sea, and rail, road and Danube routes cover only about 44% of the volumes the harvest could support, Agrarian Policy Minister Taras Vysotskyi said in September.
Grain can at least be stored while farmers wait, although the country faces an 11mn-tonne storage shortfall this autumn.
Kernel chief executive Yevhen Osypov has warned that Ukraine could lose up to 12mn tonnes of its 2027 harvest as farmers stop planting crops they cannot sell abroad.
