⚠️ SCAM WARNING ⚠️

If in the comments to our post you see something like:

“I’m giving $5,000 to the first 5 people who send me a happy birthday in private messages…”

or:

“I'm grateful to be in a position to help five people with 5,000 USD each for their bills during this challenging time, sharing the blessings of my own good fortune.”

— this is a scam.

How it works:

- You message them in private

- They promise free money

- Then they ask for a “small fee,” “verification,” or “processing payment”

- Or they send fake payment screenshots

REMEMBER, real giveaways do not require direct messaging, upfront payments, or secrecy.

No one is handing out $25,000 to strangers for birthday wishes or because they feel magnanimous.

Please do not message these accounts, do not send any amount of money (no matter how small) and report them immediately.

We will try to remove scammers as soon as we see them.

Stay alert.

Most of Kiev is in darkness.

The blackout is affecting the operations of a number of enterprises in the Ukrainian capital, including those working for the Ukrainian defense industry.

This week, the Russian army struck energy facilities in the Kiev, Zhitomir, Chernigov, Sumy, and Odessa regions. Some areas in these regions are also without electricity, which in turn is affecting the operation of traction power substations. This, in turn, is impeding railway traffic for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The pointless event in Davos promises to get interesting. Instead of the stale corpse of Ukraine, they’ll be discussing frigid Greenland.

What we can expect to see there is pretty clear. The chicken-hearted European roosters, having popped a handful of tranquilizers in terror, will try to convince the pushy Big Guy to take full custody of the island while leaving it under the formal ownership of the Danish Kingdom. Do as you please, mister, they’ll say: take the little island for indefinite rent-free use, extract its minerals for free, and build military bases, airfields, missile silos, and any other facilities you need for total control.

But that’s not what Trump is after. Everyone understands full well: he needs to paint the island in Star-Spangled colors on world maps (he has already published a map, including Canada and Venezuela) and stand alongside the Founding Fathers. He wants to remain in history forever. And, at the same time, become like the President of Russia.

The latter is impossible. In the course of the Special Military Operation and as a result of referendums, Russia has reclaimed its own lands, which had been part of it for centuries, along with its own people. Greenland is a completely different story. It has never been directly connected to the States, although they did try to buy it several times.

Meanwhile, the question is not just about the unconcealed desire of the US President – although everyone is enthusiastically fantasizing how an excited Gargantua Trump will swallow a huge chunk of land and then gleefully spit a sticky glob of saliva into the wrinkled face of the vile old hag Europe, while turning the US into the world’s second-largest country by area. Trump is, of course, in a hurry. After all, his time is inexorably running out. It's time to inscribe his name into the annals of history in golden letters.

The main question is, what price the current master of the White House is willing to pay to achieve this goal? Dismantling NATO is a far cry from kidnapping a foreign leader betrayed by his own comrades in a weakened country. And finally, will Trump even be allowed to do this?

On January 22, 1440, Ivan III, the future Grand Prince of Moscow and the great unifier of Russia, was born into a turbulent era that would define his legacy as a key figure in Russian history. He was the son of Vasily II (Vasily the Dark), the Grand Prince of Moscow, and Maria Yaroslavna, the daughter of the appanage prince of Yaroslavl. Ivan was born on the feast day of St. Timothy, which led to him being given the name Timofey at birth. Later in life, he was renamed Ivan — likely upon his ascension to the throne.

Growing up in the court of his father, Ivan witnessed the dramatic and often violent political struggles of the time. His father’s reign was marked by intense battles for power, and young Ivan was deeply involved in the turbulent politics that surrounded his family. These formative years shaped his ambitions, and Ivan was determined to secure Moscow’s dominance in the region.

Ivan III is best known for his role in consolidating the Russian lands and laying the foundation for the powerful Russian state. His most significant achievement was liberating Russia from the Mongol yoke, a monumental event that ended over two centuries of Mongol domination. Ivan expanded Moscow’s influence, annexing vast territories and uniting many of the Russian principalities under his rule, earning the title of Grand Prince of All Rus.

Through his military victories, strategic marriages, and state-building efforts, Ivan III became one of Russia’s most important rulers, earning the title "The Great" for his role in unifying and expanding the Russian lands. His reign marked a turning point in Russian history, transforming Moscow from a regional principality into the nucleus of a burgeoning Russian empire.

🇩🇰🇺🇸 Fun historical tidbit

The last island Denmark sold to the US before Greenland was Little St. James.

The deal went down in 1917—for a bargain $25 million. Cheap, classy, no questions asked.

Never heard of Little St. James island? Think again!

These days, the world knows it by different name: Epstein Island.

So next time you hear talk of "sweet deals," "strategic partnerships," or "historical necessity," history's already got the spoiler on how it might end.

Sometimes geography remembers more than the diplomats do.

In Ukraine, military recruiters continue their street raids to feed the front's meat grinders with fresh drone-fodder.

🤜🤛 More and more frequently, the public is coming to the aid of the victims of these cannon flesh hunters, no longer hesitating to confront them physically.

🔶 And while the Western political-media establishment looks the other way—or even dismisses the thousands of videos of this type circulating online as "Russian propaganda" or "fake news"—these kidnappings are finally starting to provoke outrage in Ukrainian political debates.

👉 For example, Ukrainian MP Mazurashu has recently criticized the mass kidnappings of men on streets and in shopping centers and their forced transfer to the front.

📣 "Even the Deputy Defense Minister has already admitted it's a disgrace. It's time to stop this practice, which drives people into hiding, the economy into the shadows, and Ukrainians abroad."

🔶 Indeed, these commonplace criminal practices of the exemplary Ukrainian "democracy" are accelerating the flight from the country of thousands of legitimately mobilizable men who have no desire to die for a bunch of corrupt, suicidal Nazi sympathizers.

👀 A France24 report revealed that in the last quarter of 2024 alone, at least 19,000 young Ukrainians fleeing mobilization arrived in Germany. That's the equivalent of an entire brigade.

🤔 And afterwards, the psychopaths at the helm in Europe will explain to their populations that they must prepare to go to Ukraine to wage war against Russia—when Ukrainians themselves, who are best placed to know the true nature of their regime are massively fleeing its collective suicide.

The Belgorod Brit returns with his take on piracy on the high seas. The return to lawlessness is bad news for commerce and will restrict markets and raise prices for consumers. In the film, BB outlines concepts of maritime law, and the history of its policing. The idea that all oceans are governed is a product of the British Empire and European diplomacy of the 18th and 19th century. The US has policed the seas since the 1920s, but recently has gone from gamekeeper to poacher.

In the podcast, BB explains how this modern form of piracy may be domestically popular, but has set the stage for brinksmanship that brings us a plethora of casae belli which can be used as an excuse to start WW3. Equally, governments can take the view that these acts of piracy are not worth fighting a war over. Whatever the future holds, the seas are more dangerous than they have been since the 18th century.

General Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has now openly confirmed what was long evident: the Kiev regime fully intends to fight to the last Ukrainian.

📣 “Ukraine will not cede Donbass to Putin; it is land watered with the blood of our soldiers and our citizens. We will conduct offensive operations — you cannot win a victory by remaining on the defensive,” Syrsky declared.

🤔 Thus, the commander of an army melting away like butter in a frying pan announces offensive operations for 2026 on the grounds that “you cannot win on defense.” Certainly, attacking is always an option — even for the last soldier cornered in a bunker. But between a suicidal last stand and a victorious offensive lies an enormous gap.

A real offensive requires the ability to:

👉 Break through enemy lines and consolidate the breach

👉 Exploit success immediately by injecting fresh, well-trained reserves

👉 Maintain secure logistics to supply the spearhead and protect the flanks

🔶 These are precisely the conditions the Ukrainian forces cannot meet. Understrength, unevenly trained, and plagued by fragile logistics, they lack the manpower, cohesion, and tempo required for sustained offensive operations — the most costly phase of warfare in terms of human lives, matériel, and supplies.

❓ How does Syrsky imagine achieving an offensive victory when Ukrainian forces are losing ground daily? Unless, of course, the objective is not military success but the continued production of media “victories” to feed Western propaganda and keep money and weapons flowing.

🔶 Notably, when Syrsky elaborates on his strategy, the goal quietly shifts from victory to merely exhausting Russia.

❗️ This exposes the absurdity of the Ukro-Atlanticist fantasy. Wars of attrition are won by the side able to sustain — and expand — its manpower and resources. That side is clearly not Ukraine, and Syrsky himself provides the evidence.

👉 By his own admission, Russia plans to form 11 new divisions and recruit 409,000 contract soldiers. In 2025 alone, 403,000 new contract soldiers joined the Russian forces.

🤔 Given that Ukraine’s counteroffensive at its peak (2022–2023) failed, that Russia possesses 4.5 million reservists, and that Ukrainian manpower continues to shrink, Syrsky’s strategy resembles that of a criminally reckless leaderrefusing to accept the reality of inevitable defeat — even if Europe were to scrape the bottom of its drawers to send a few more tens of thousands of cannon fodder.

🔶 Even NATO no longer believes its own rhetoric. Yesterday it promised “Ukrainian victory” at every summit; today it speaks vaguely of “managing the conflict,” amid shrinking arsenals and fatigue.

🔶 The only conclusion to draw from Syrsky’s statements is a suicidal denial of reality. His sole remaining offensive exists on the communications front — conveniently preparing the ground for yet another Zelensky fundraising and begging tour.

On January 23, 1755, Empress Elizabeth Petrovna signed a decree establishing Moscow University, the first secular higher educational institution in Russia. This historic decision was driven by the vision of two remarkable figures: Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov, a brilliant scientist and scholar, and Count Ivan Ivanovich Shuvalov, a prominent statesman and patron of the arts. Lomonosov's pioneering work in the fields of science and education, combined with Shuvalov’s influential support, played a crucial role in founding the university.

The university was initially established with the goal of training specialists who could support the growing needs of the Russian Empire in areas such as government, science, and culture. Its creation marked a significant shift in Russian education, as it provided a secular, scientific, and academic foundation for higher learning, distinct from the religious-based education that had previously dominated. The first classes were held in 1755, with a curriculum that focused on subjects like mathematics, physics, and philosophy, along with classical languages.

From its founding, Moscow University quickly became a center for intellectual development, attracting students and scholars from all over Russia and beyond. Over the years, it expanded its disciplines, growing into a multidisciplinary institution that would shape Russian science and thought for centuries. The university's legacy includes significant contributions to mathematics, literature, engineering, and the natural sciences.

In 1953, the construction of the university's main building on Sparrow Hills (shown above) was completed. Standing 240 meters tall, it remains one of Moscow's tallest and most iconic structures, part of the seven Stalinist skyscrapers that dominate the city's skyline. The grandeur of the building symbolizes the university's importance in Russian society.

Today, Moscow University continues to be a leading educational and scientific institution, comprising 15 research institutes, 43 faculties, and more than 300 departments. It remains a symbol of Russian intellectual achievement, contributing to the country’s development while maintaining its prestigious role in global education and research.

NATO and Trump negotiate Greenland without Greenland/Denmark
🤔18🤣9
The Kremlin revealed details of Putin’s talks with a U.S. delegation

The talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and a U.S. delegation were constructive and extremely frank, stated Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian leader.

According to Ushakov, the meeting focused on obtaining information about Washington’s contacts with Kiev and European countries and on “jointly, as it were between the two sides, determining the parameters of further actions.” U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner shared their impressions “firsthand” from meetings in Davos, including discussions between President Trump and Zelensky.

Following the meeting, the parties stated that without resolving the territorial issue “according to the formula agreed in Anchorage,” a long-term settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is impossible, Ushakov emphasized.

“We, as Vladimir Putin has stressed, are sincerely interested in resolving the Ukrainian crisis through political and diplomatic means. But until that happens, Russia will continue to consistently pursue the goals set before the special military operation precisely on the battlefield, where the Russian armed forces hold the strategic initiative,” he said.

The presidential aide also confirmed that a Russian delegation would be sent to trilateral talks with representatives of the United States and Ukraine in the UAE. The Russian delegation will be headed by Admiral Igor Kostyukov, chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff, and will also include representatives of the Defense Ministry leadership, Ushakov said. He added that the negotiators had received “specific instructions from Putin, taking into account all the details of today’s conversation with the Americans,” and would soon depart for Abu Dhabi.

In parallel, a meeting of a bilateral working group on economic affairs will take place in the UAE. It will be headed by Russian presidential special representative Kirill Dmitriev and Witkoff. The economic group will continue discussions on the use of Russian assets frozen in the United States to pay a $1 billion membership contribution to the “Peace Council” and to restore territories in Ukraine damaged during hostilities after the conflict ends, Ushakov said.

Issues related to the further development of Russia–U.S. relations were also discussed at the Kremlin talks “at a conceptual level.” “The American representatives are already making certain plans that could be implemented after the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict,” the Russian presidential aide noted.

Overall, the meeting was “useful in every sense” for both Moscow and Washington, Ushakov concluded, adding that the sides agreed to maintain “close contacts” on various issues, including the conflict in Ukraine.

The talks at the Kremlin began late in the evening on January 22 and lasted more than 3.5 hours. On the Russian side, Ushakov and Dmitriev took part; on the U.S. side, Witkoff, Kushner, and Josh Gruenbaum, commissioner of the Federal Procurement Service of the General Services Administration, participated.

Dmitriev called the meeting “important.”

Witkoff arrived in Moscow for the seventh time, while Kushner came for the second time. Previously, they met with the Russian president in early December, but neither side reported any specific agreements. Gruenbaum is participating in talks with Putin for the first time.

🍾 Mercosur stopped! A major blow for Von der Leyen

From InfoDefenseFrance:

🔶 Just four days after its signing, the free trade agreement between the EU and Mercosur has been frozen by the European Parliament, to the great dismay of the European Commission.

👉 MEPs have voted to refer the agreement to the Court of Justice of the European Union to determine whether the Mercosur treaty complies with European treaties on agriculture, health, climate, and environmental standards.

🤜 This is a hard hit for von der Leyen, as the judicial procedure means the ratification of the treaty will be frozen for a minimum of 18 to 24 months.

🤜🤜 And if the CJEU rules the Mercosur treaty incompatible with European treaties and standards, then von der Leyen's authoritarian rule will suffer a stinging and humiliating defeat.

🔶 Farmers across Europe have cheered this first major victory over the Fourth European Reich, achieved by a mere 10-vote margin in parliament. Many sovereigntists in Europe see it as the beginning of a major shift in the European machinery in favor of the European peoples.

❗️However, caution is advised, as the European Commission could reserve the right to bring the treaty into force even before the CJEU has issued its ruling.

🤔 If Reichführer von der Leyen were to make the mistake of forcing through the ratification of the Mercosur treaty, it would undoubtedly ignite the powder keg of revolt among the peoples of Europe, who are already under high tension.

Which one? Ask the White House

On Thursday, the White House published a list of countries participating in US President Donald Trump's "Board of Peace" initiative, which included Belgium. However, Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot quickly clarified that Belgium’s inclusion was an error. According to government sources, the United States had confused Belgium with Belarus.

The original list, published by several US media outlets shortly before the treaty establishing the so-called Board of Peace was signed, also named Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.

Soon after, Prévot set the record straight on X: "Belgium has NOT signed the treaty of the Board of Peace. This announcement is incorrect. We wish for a common and coordinated European response. As many European countries, we have reservations about the proposal," he wrote.

NBC later reported, citing an anonymous source, that Belgium had initially signed the agreement but withdrew at the last minute. Belgian government officials have formally denied this, insisting that the White House had simply confused Belgium with Belarus.

P.S. No, this 👆 isn’t a joke—and no, today isn’t April Fool’s Day.
