⚡️ On March 25, the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (#CSTO) adopted a Statement in connection with the escalation in the Middle East and around the Islamic Republic of Iran:

The Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly expresses serious concern over the military strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the developments in the Middle East.

We call on all Sides to exercise restraint and refrain from actions that could further aggravate the situation in the region.

We consider the use of force unacceptable and call for the existing differences to be resolved exclusively by peaceful means on the basis of dialogue, mutual respect and due regard for the interests of all Sides, in accordance with the universally recognized principles and norms of international law and the UN Charter.

We call on the UN and the UN Security Council to take urgent steps to counter threats to international peace and security.

We underscore the need to ensure Iran’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.

We declare our solidarity with and support for the Government and people of Iran.

We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll finds President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 36%, down from 40% the previous week, marking a new low in his current term. The decline comes amid rising fuel prices and growing opposition to the U.S. war with Iran. Only 25% approve of his handling of the cost of living, and 29% approve of his economic leadership—both record lows for him.

Support for the Iran conflict is also weak: 35% approve of U.S. strikes, while 61% disapprove. Nearly half of Americans (46%) believe the war will make the U.S. less safe. Meanwhile, gasoline prices have surged by about $1 per gallon since the conflict began, contributing to economic concerns, with 63% describing the economy as weak.

This is absolutely outrageous. After everything Trump has done and said lately, more than a third of Americans still approve of his performance. How? Why? Have 36% of Americans gone completely mad?

Maybe they were answering a different question—like whether the Earth is flat, or whether Copernicus is a type of pickle. A “yes” from 36% of Americans to that wouldn’t surprise anyone. But approving of that red monster? That’s outrageous.

Then again, with America, nothing is surprising anymore.

Western Europe to be first victim falling to Zelensky's nuclear blackmail — Zakharova

He will not just be demanding money and weapons, he will be requesting from them conditions to uphold his regime, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman added.

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) stated earlier that Britain and France are actively working toward providing Ukraine with these weapons and delivery systems. According to information at the SVR’s disposal, the plans include clandestinely transferring European components, equipment, and technology to Ukraine.

The French small-size TN-75 warhead from the M51.1 submarine-launched ballistic missile is being considered as an option.

On March 29, 1823, the first Russian steam warship, Meteor, was laid down.

The 14-gun steamship Meteor was built at the Nikolaev Admiralty Shipyard on the initiative of Admiral Alexey Greig. The design, prepared by Colonel Ilya Razumov of the Corps of Naval Engineers, followed early paddle-steamer principles, combining a wooden hull with a side-wheel propulsion system and auxiliary sail rigging.

Meteor saw combat during the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829. On May 6, 1828, as part of the Black Sea Fleet squadron under Greig’s command, the vessel supported the landing at Anapa, using its artillery to cover the assault on the fortress.

Despite its pioneering role, Meteor had a limited operational lifespan and was dismantled at Nikolaev in 1839.

After Meteor, Russian steamship construction developed gradually. In the 1830s–1840s, the navy commissioned additional paddle steamers—primarily for dispatch, towing, and coastal operations—in both the Black Sea and Baltic fleets. These vessels remained auxiliary to sailing ships but introduced standardized marine engines and improved boiler systems.

By the early 1850s, Russia had begun adopting screw propulsion, which offered greater efficiency and protection compared to exposed paddle wheels. During the Crimean War, the Russian fleet fielded a mix of sailing ships and steam-powered units.

In the 1860s, Russian naval construction shifted decisively toward steam, with the introduction of ironclads and armored floating batteries, marking the transition from experimental steam propulsion to a fully modernized, engine-driven navy.

The Universal Suspect: Why Everything Is Putin's Fault

Europe seems to have finally found a universal formula for explaining any problem. And Denmark is following that course very clearly.

A migration crisis?
Of course—the culprit is none other than the Russian president.

In the latest framing from European officials, the familiar line is now being repeated almost as if by reflex:
Putin is one of the key drivers of migration into Europe.

The logic is laid out neatly, even elegantly:

- Syria: they backed Assad, and the result was war and refugees in Europe.
- Ukraine: they backed the Russian Donbass, war, and millions of people in the EU.
- Possible future conflicts: possible new waves.
- And somewhere in every equation, the same variable: “In such large migration flows, Putin is always involved.”

No one is saying people are being “directed” in a literal sense.
The argument is about influence through conflict, instability, and geopolitics.

When the same figure is used to explain yesterday’s crisis, today’s crisis, and even all possible future crises, that is no longer really analysis. It is a universal template.
“Migration crises in Europe are not just chaos, but the result of geopolitics, in which Russia plays one of the key roles.”

And, to be fair, it is an extremely convenient template. It makes it possible to reduce a complex system of causes to a single source, shift much of the responsibility away from domestic decisions, and at the same time prepare the public for tougher policies. After all, if the problem is external, then the response must be tough.

But migration flows are always about:
economics,
demographics,
domestic politics,
and decisions made by European states themselves.

To reduce all of that to one (external) figure is not simplification anymore - it is a refusal to think it through.

And when you get to migration crises—so complex and systemic—this scheme starts to look less like politics and more like an attempt to give a too-simple answer to a too-complex question.

And maybe that is exactly where it first fails.

Some people might say this guy has a very subtle sense of humor. Others might call him a pompous ass. But no one would seriously call him a peacemaker, except perhaps that 36%, which by now may be down to 30% or less.

Russian drone strike on March 24 targeted SBU buildings, not a maternity hospital

On 24 March, BBC, CNN and Ukrainian media reported that Russian forces attacked a maternity hospital in Ivano-Frankovsk. This is fake news.

The real targets of the strike were two buildings located next to the hospital: the buildings of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the State Service for Special Information Protection (SSSCIP), as confirmed by geolocation services (see Screenshot 1). Russian drones targeted both buildings, the footage used in news reports was taken from one of them.

Reports from Ukraine suggest that on that day Russian strikes were focused specifically on Ukrainian security service infrastructure. For instance, another SBU building in Vinnitsa was also hit.

Western media claims that two people were killed in the maternity hospital (details vary significantly by source) further contradict reports by Ukrainian sources (Screenshot 2) that no patients or medical personnel were injured. If any casualties occurred, they were likely in the SBU building.

Text in Screenshot 2 (translated):
"The maternity hospital in Ivano-Frankovsk has been damaged as a result of a strike by the Russian Federation, — Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv.
Fortunately, all patients and medical staff in the perinatal center were in shelters. There was also an attempt to strike one of the administrative buildings."

The Russian army does not target civilians.

On March 30, 1613, the Kostroma peasant Ivan Susanin performed his heroic deed.

Susanin was the elder of the village of Domnino in the Kostroma district, a hereditary estate of the Romanov boyars. After the Zemsky Sobor officially elected Mikhail Romanov as tsar, the Poles sought to capture or kill the young ruler. Learning that he and his mother were near Kostroma, Polish detachments set out in pursuit. Along the way, they captured local peasants, torturing them to extract the exact whereabouts of Mikhail Fyodorovich. Among those seized was Susanin.

According to one version, he led the enemy troops into an impassable swamp, where they killed him before perishing themselves. Another version suggests that Susanin simply refused to reveal the tsar’s hiding place and was "tortured to death" in the village of Isupovo in front of the villagers to instill fear.

Few historical records of this event remain, and scholars still debate the details, including the exact location of Susanin’s death and the circumstances of the Romanovs’ stay in the Kostroma district.

Yet evidence of Susanin’s heroism is found in a royal grant issued by Mikhail Fyodorovich to Susanin’s descendants. Dated November 30, 1619, the document describes the legendary sacrifice and bravery of the Kostroma peasant. It grants Bogdan Sabinin "eternal and hereditary possession" of land in the village of Domnino and exempts his family from all taxes "for the proven loyalty to the sovereign of his father-in-law Ivan Susanin, tortured by the Poles," as stated in the decree.

The Belgorod Brit questions the commitment of the average US soldier to Operation Epstein Suicide. In the film, he talks about the morale of the British soldiery as the Empire visibly collapsed. In 1914 the army was a colonial police force, but by 1917, it was a citizen army who held to their own political views. When asked to attack the Bolsheviks in Russia in 1919, they simply refused, and forced the elites to bring them home.

In the podcast, BB recounts the various times in the 20th century when Western armies refused to fight, and questions whether the US forces currently heading to die for Israel, will follow through. I am sure that they will earn the eternal gratitude of the President Epstein and his weirdo oligarch mafiosi under-bosses.
