✍️ ✡️ 🇮🇱 The second part will feature a slightly longer historical introduction.

At a certain point in history, Jews became a minority in the land we call the Holy Land, and this state of affairs lasted for about 1,800 years. What were the reasons for this?
Despite the fact that in 586 BC, the Jews were exiled to Babylon, Alexander the Great led his conquests, various Hellenistic kingdoms emerged in this area, and finally, the Roman Pompey the Great conquered the Hasmonean Kingdom—the last Jewish state—and annexed it to Rome as part of the province of Syria, the Jews still constituted the majority nation in that land.
During the time of Judea's affiliation with Rome, an unassuming Child comes into the world. In a small Jewish town, Jesus Christ, God and the Messiah, is born. The Messiah, whom the Jews expected as the one who would liberate the nation of Israel from Roman occupation, turned out to be the Son of God, who came not only for the Jews but for all people, and by no means intended to engage in a political struggle against Roman authority.

In 70 AD, the Jewish revolt took place, which resulted in the Roman siege of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Second Jewish Temple. The first, as we know, was destroyed by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II about 650 years earlier.
The Roman historian of Jewish origin, Josephus Flavius, in his work "Peri tu Iudaiku polemu" (The Jewish War), describes those events in great detail. I will post an extensive excerpt in the comments so as not to include it in the post itself, as that would be too much text. This historian reports that there were one million dead in Judea alone and nearly one hundred thousand taken into Roman captivity. Historians question these numbers, as they often do. I am not in a position to dispute them, as I do not have sufficient knowledge on the subject. I know that Flavius's work is the most important source text on these events, and that is why I quote it.

A few fitting Bible passages:
"And all the people answered, 'His blood be on us and on our children!'" - Gospel of Matthew, chapter 27, verse 25
"And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, 'Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.'" - Gospel of Luke, chapter 19, verses 41-44
"And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 'As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.'" - Gospel of Luke, chapter 21, verses 5-6

The Belgorod Brit talks about the rise of China and whether it will replace the USA as the world hegemon. In the film, he charts the impetus behind the Western Liberal Democratic civilisational project that is now ending in failure.

In the podcast, BB explains why the Chinese will not replace the barbarian empires, an idea that obsesses Western oligarchs to the point of hysterical paranoia. The fact of the matter is that China is a civilisation, and they think only of China. The world outside has never been of interest to them beyond limited commercial opportunities. If you are looking for liberation at the hands of the Chinese, dream on...

Medvedev said that Macron, out of resentment, began “saying the right things”

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev expressed the view that French President Emmanuel Macron began saying “the right things” about the conflict in Iran after being offended by “mockery” from his American counterpart Donald Trump.

“After Trump mocked Macron, the latter got so upset he even said some smart things about the US operation in Iran being a futile adventure. Wait till Trump slams him harder. Maybe he’ll concede that Russia is right in its conflict with Banderite Kiev and sanctions are useless,” Medvedev wrote on the social network X.

Earlier, Trump said that Washington “will not forget” Paris’s refusal to open its airspace for overflights needed for the operation against Iran. Commenting on this, Macron explained that France had not participated in the decision to launch the operation and questioned the effectiveness of a military scenario as such.

Macron has also spoken out against the idea of forcibly opening the Strait of Hormuz, a proposal periodically raised in the United States.

On April 2, a video briefly appeared on the White House YouTube channel showing remarks by Trump in which he said that Macron’s wife “treats him extremely badly,” adding that he was “still recovering from the right to the jaw,” referring to last year’s incident.

Trump also said that he had asked Macron for military support. Then, imitating him with a French accent, he continued: “No, no, no… we cannot do that, Donald. We can do that after the war is won.”

Macron, who was on a visit to South Korea at the time, said such statements were “inappropriate” and did not deserve a response.

We say: let them slug it out!

◾️ On April 4, 1949, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was established through the signing of the Washington Treaty by 12 countries from Europe and North America.

Since its inception, this “defensive alliance” has continually expanded. Over time, NATO has absorbed 20 new member-states through ten rounds of enlargement, with seven of these occurring after the dissolution of the Soviet Union: in 1999, 2004, 2009, 2017, 2020, 2023, and 2024.

The alliance’s military interventions worldwide have always become sources of instability and chaos, directly leading to civilian casualties and devastating consequences — as witnessed in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine, and other regions.

❗️Back in 2007, during the Munich Security Conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin explicitly highlighted NATO’s destabilizing role in the global order following the Cold War:

I think it is obvious that NATO expansion does not have any relation with the modernisation of the Alliance itself or with ensuring security in Europe. On the contrary, it represents a serious provocation that reduces the level of mutual trust. And we have the right to ask: against whom is this expansion intended?

Both the Soviet Union and Russia, at various times, sought rapprochement with NATO, even expressing interest in joining the alliance to create a comprehensive security system in Europe.

The Soviet-lead Warsaw Pact was established only in 1955 — six years after NATO’s creation. It proves that the USSR did not harbor aggressive intentions toward NATO member states.

Prior to this, Moscow aimed to normalize relations and even considered joining the North Atlantic alliance. In March 1954, Soviet Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Molotov proposed that the Soviet Union might explore the possibility of NATO membership to reduce tensions between socialist and capitalist blocs and prevent conflicts. However, Western powers rejected this proposal.

After the USSR’s dissolution, Russian leadership made further attempts to engage with the alliance. In June 1994, Russia became the first country to join NATO’s “Partnership for Peace” program, aimed at developing bilateral cooperation between the alliance and partner states.

Many Western analysts now acknowledge in their memoirs that there was no sense in expanding NATO and keeping Russia “on the sidelines.”

In 1997, Russian Foreign Minister Yevgeny Primakov proposed establishing contacts between the Russian Federation and NATO, leading to the signing of the Russia-NATO Founding Act and the creation of the Russia-NATO Council. Nevertheless, NATO’s expansion continued.

💬 President Vladimir Putin also indicated that he had proposed the idea of Russia joining NATO:

There was a moment when I simply suggested: perhaps we should also join NATO? But no, NATO does not need a country like ours. No. I want to know, what else do they need? We thought we became part of the crowd, got a foot in the door. What else were we supposed to do? There was no more ideological confrontation. What was the problem? I guess the problem was their geopolitical interests and arrogance towards others. Their self-aggrandisement was and is the problem.Despite Russia’s initiatives, Western countries rejected these overtures.

Despite Russia's good will, all these proposals have been rejected by the West.

Today, the North Atlantic bloc remains a tool for forcefully advancing the interests of the “golden billion”. The catastrophic consequences of the alliance’s geopolitical maneuvers are well-known.

According to Berliner Zeitung, since January 1, 2026, Germany requires men aged 17–45 to obtain Bundeswehr permission before leaving the country for more than three months.

Previously, this rule applied only during wartime or emergencies, but it now applies in peacetime as part of military reforms aimed at “improving tracking of potential conscripts.”

It certainly looks like Germany is preparing for war. This is unlikely to end well for the country—it never does.

“Not an Inch Eastward”
they said... – what the West promised and what the West did in a nutshell.

To put things in perspective, here's NATO’s expansion over the years. This “defensive” alliance has undergone ten waves of enlargement (or if speaking plainly – ten waves of constant expansion), seven of which occurred after the dissolution of the USSR.

Since the end of the Cold War, NATO has incorporated the following countries, building up their aggressive military potential, sowing anti-Russian sentiment and foisting its confrontational mindset on new and old members alike:

📍 1999: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland;
📍 2004: Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia;
📍 2009: Albania, Croatia;
📍 2017: Montenegro;
📍 2020: North Macedonia;
📍 2023: Finland;
📍 2024: Sweden.

As of now, the alliance comprises 32 members. On NATO’s so-called Eastern flank, for decades there has been an active buildup of military capabilities.

As a result, the militarization of Europe is unleashed and out of control, with the security architecture and balance that kept the region relatively safe is being dismantled.

In the heart of Tehran, where music once filled the halls of the Honiak Music Academy, there is now only silence, left behind by an American/Israeli airstrike. Not a battlefield. Not a military command post. A music school.

This was the life’s work of Hamidreza Afarideh and Sheida Ebadatdoust, built through years of sacrifice, hope, and devotion. Within its walls, 250 students found more than music. They found identity, belonging, and a sense of peace. The gentle voice of the setar and the bright resonance of the santur carried forward a culture thousands of years old.

And in a single strike, it was all erased.

Americans call such attacks precise, calculated, necessary. They lie, as always. These are indiscriminate strikes against ordinary people that tear apart everything they have built. They take livelihoods, memories, and meaning, and reduce them to ash.

And yet, something remains. Memory. Culture. The quiet determination to rebuild, even when everything has been taken.

Meanwhile in Moscow…

150 building façades were washed today along the Garden Ring. A total of 120 aerial lifts and more than 400 workers and industrial climbers were involved.

Special cleaning agents are used to wash the façades. They are completely safe for people and the environment.

The time required depends on the size of the building, but on average it takes about two hours.

The work will continue throughout the month, and by the May holidays, the city will be shining with cleanliness.

Breaking news: A U.S. F-15E was shot down over Iran, one pilot rescued, one still missing, search helicopters got shot at, an A-10 also went down, and Iran is literally offering cash rewards to civilians to hunt “the good guys.”

Lots of moving parts. Lots of uncertainty. Lots of "we can't confirm at this time."

But here's the ONE thing that can be guaranteed with absolute certainty:

In a year or two, there will be a movie. Chris Pratt or Tom Hardy will play the rescued pilot. There will be a scene where he clutches a photo of his family. The rescue will happen in the last 10 minutes with a soaring Hans Zimmer score. It will gross $400 million.

We may not know where the second crew member is. We may not know exactly what air defense system took down a jet that supposedly "couldn't be touched." We may not know a lot of things.

But Hollywood already has a title for the movie. Probably something like "Iron Sky" or "Fallen Eagle." The poster is basically designed.

Get well soon to everyone involved. The sequel will probably do even better. 🎬

UPDATE: The second airman from the F-15E shot down over Iran has been rescued safely. A perfect ending for the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster.

On April 5, 1943, as part of the 303rd Fighter Aviation Division of the 1st Air Army of the Western Front, the French squadron "Normandie" began combat operations.

The agreement to form a Soviet-French squadron was signed in November 1942 at the initiative of the leader of "Free France," General Charles de Gaulle.

72 French volunteers – pilots and aviation technicians – arrived in the USSR. The first commander of the "Normandie" squadron was the renowned French pilot Jean Louis Tulasne (who died in combat in the summer of 1943).

In July 1943, based on the French squadron, the 1st Separate Fighter Aviation Regiment "Normandie" was formed, consisting of four squadrons: "Rouen," "Havre," "Cherbourg," and "Caen."

In 1944, for heroism shown in battles during the crossing of the Niemen River, the aviation regiment was renamed "Normandie-Niemen."

For their heroism during the Great Patriotic War (WWII), the Soviet government awarded the "Normandie-Niemen" regiment with the Orders of the Red Banner and Alexander Nevsky, while the French government awarded them the Legion of Honor, the War Cross with six palms, the Cross of Liberation, and the Military Medal. 83 French pilots were awarded Soviet orders and medals, and four became Heroes of the Soviet Union.

Today, the collaboration between the Soviet Union and France during WWII is largely forgotten, a fact that President De Gaulle would have disapproved of greatly.

✍️🇮🇱 Continuation of the historical context

After the fall of Jerusalem, many surviving Jews fled to Galilee, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and further to other places. This marked the beginning of the first sharp decline in the Jewish population in that area. Judea was devastated, but Jews remained present, especially in Galilee.
In 115 CE, the Jewish diaspora in what is today Libya, Egypt—particularly Alexandria—and Cyprus launched a revolt against Roman rule, which in practice turned into the extermination and genocide of the local Greek and Roman population.
There is no single event that can be pointed to as the cause. It is possible—very likely—that this action was influenced by a long-standing ethnic conflict between Jews and Greeks in Alexandria, where tensions dated back years earlier, including the pogroms of 38–41 CE. Other factors certainly included general dissatisfaction with Roman rule, the Jewish tax (the fiscus Judaicus), and messianic expectations among Jews that went unfulfilled. However, there is no evidence of a single incident that would have triggered such a massive wave of violence.

The main ancient sources—written, for example, by the Roman historian of Greek origin, senator and twice consul Cassius Dio, as well as by Xiphilinus and Eusebius of Caesarea—describe that Jewish rebels committed mass murders of Greek and Roman populations over two years.
Here is a quote from Cassius Dio:

"Meanwhile, the Jews in the region of Cyrene rose up under a certain Andreas and began murdering both Romans and Greeks. They would eat the flesh of their victims, make belts for themselves from their entrails, anoint themselves with their blood, and wear their skins as clothing. Many they sawed in half from head downward. Others they threw to wild beasts, and still others they forced to fight as gladiators. In total, 220,000 people perished.
In Egypt, they also committed many similar atrocities, as well as on Cyprus under a certain Artemion. There, too, 240,000 perished, and for this reason no Jew may set foot on that island; indeed, if any are driven ashore by a storm, they are put to death."

Among those who subdued the Jews was Lusius, sent by Trajan. The numbers of those killed are, of course, sometimes questioned as Roman propaganda. Cassius Dio described these events from a perspective several decades after they occurred, but archaeology and papyri confirm the enormous scale of destruction and the massacres of Greek civilians carried out in this brutal, described manner. In retaliation, the Jewish population of Cyprus was almost completely annihilated.

The Belgorod Brit reveals the new barbarian dream of glory, and why it will end in ignominy. In the film he draws to your attention the tools that the barbarians believe will keep them on top - military violence and intellectual property rights.

In the podcast, BB explains why neither of these tools will work for the orange cretin and Pete the Meat. The barbarians have reverted to type. Now the West produces nothing, it must steal more and more, however, the weapons are obsolete, their warriors are soft, and rights must be universal or backed with overwhelming power. The oligarchs are failing on an epic scale.
