‼️🇵🇱🇺🇦 Poland demands a seat at the negotiating table with Russia — otherwise, the country will not recognise any agreements, stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
▪️Warsaw must participate directly in all negotiations on a ceasefire or future peace between Ukraine and Russia, Donald Tusk stated.
▪️According to him, formats such as E3 or E5 cannot arrogate to themselves the right to speak on behalf of the entire European Union.
▪️Tusk stressed that any decisions on Ukraine will inevitably have consequences for Poland. Therefore, negotiations must either go through EU mechanisms or take place with Warsaw's direct participation — otherwise, Poland will not abide by such agreements.
P.S. However, one thing remains unclear: why have the Poles decided that anyone is going to ask them at all?

🎙 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s answer to a media question (Moscow, June 26, 2026)
💬 Question: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently said that during the meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Alaska, where the situation around Ukraine was discussed, only a proposal on an approach to a settlement was put forward, and that no agreement had ever been reached there. Could you comment on this situation?
Sergey Lavrov: We are indeed receiving many questions on this subject. It is important to clarify the situation as we see it. I hope this will be clear to the audience.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that in Alaska there were only proposals, not agreements on the settlement in Ukraine. Therefore, allegedly, it is unclear why Moscow is so concerned. The point is that, if we look at the full picture, several days before the meeting in Alaska, US President’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff visited Moscow and brought those very proposals from President Donald Trump. We took them into consideration. President Vladimir Putin promised to give his response at the meeting in Alaska.
Already in Anchorage, when the two Presidents “sat down for talks” – Marco Rubio and I were also present – President Vladimir Putin, looking at Steve Witkoff, who was also in the room, began listing the US proposals point by point. After each point, in the presence of President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vladimir Putin asked Steve Witkoff whether he had accurately captured the ideas that the latter had brought to Moscow ahead of Anchorage.
👉 Steve Witkoff answered each time in the affirmative. Therefore, when my colleague Marco Rubio says that there were only proposals in Alaska and no agreement, this raises a question for me as to what we mean by an agreement. If one Side – in this case, the US – puts forward its settlement proposals, its ideas on how to approach this crisis, and the other Side expresses consent to these proposals, then saying that there was no agreement does not sound particularly elegant.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also said, while speaking at another event somewhere in the Middle East, that they are ready to step forward and play a constructive role, should they have such an opportunity. He said, in effect, that bringing the parties together and ending this war is what US President Donald Trump has been trying to do for a year and a half.
All of this can probably be taken as confirmation that in Alaska there were American proposals, and that we accepted them. But the quote I have just cited raises a question from another angle. I am referring to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s recent remarks at congressional hearings, when he said that the US could not be a mediator because it supports Ukraine.
Now, when Washington expresses interest in playing a constructive role and bringing the parties together, this already sounds like a bid for mediation.
❗️ Of course, this entire situation needs to be clarified. But the fact remains: US proposals were discussed in Alaska, and they were accepted by the Russian Side.

On June 27, 1754, Empress Elizaveta Petrovna approved the project for the Winter Palace.
In the 18th century, five Winter Palaces were built in St. Petersburg. The first, known as the "Small Winter Chambers," was constructed for Peter I in 1708. It was a two-story house with a tiled roof and a high porch. Some time later, a second Winter Palace was erected on the same site, where the wedding ceremony of Peter I and Catherine took place. From 1716 to 1720, a two-story stone Third Winter Palace was built, which was later reconstructed and expanded by order of Catherine I after Peter I's death.
Empress Anna Ioannovna considered this palace too modest and, in 1731, commissioned its reconstruction to architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Four years later, the Fourth Winter Palace was completed.
Empress Elizaveta Petrovna also decided to redesign the imperial residence to her taste. The construction was again entrusted to architect Rastrelli. The erection of the Fifth Winter Palace lasted eight years. This is the building we see today.
For 150 years, the palace was the ceremonial imperial residence. In November 1917, it was declared a museum, and today it houses the main exhibition of the State Hermitage Museum.

Putin extends ban on Russian oil exports under price cap through end-2027
Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended the ban on exports of Russian oil and petroleum products under the price cap imposed by the G7 and the European Union until December 31, 2027. The restriction had previously been in effect through June 30, 2026.
The presidential decree prohibits supplies to foreign legal entities and individuals if contracts directly or indirectly include any mechanism linked to the price cap. The ban applies at all stages of deliveries, all the way through to the final buyer.
The retaliatory measure was first introduced on February 1, 2023, in response to the Western price cap on Russian crude and refined products, and has been extended multiple times since. The latest extension signals Moscow’s continued commitment to countering what it sees as unlawful and unfair restrictions on its energy exports.

Zelensky's insane ultimatum to Belarus causes alarm
The threat by the leader of the Kiev regime to start a war against Belarus could catastrophically expand the geographical boundaries of the conflict, writes the Daily Express.
Zelensky recently issued an ultimatum demanding that Minsk dismantle transmission devices and radars in two border regions within a week, which, according to him, help guide Russian drones.
Ukraine has issued a sensational threat to launch a military action against Belarus as early as next week, which threatens a serious expansion of the conflict with Russia,
the publication expresses its concern.
A horizontal escalation of the conflict, that is, the opening of new fronts (for example, on the Polish-Belarusian or Ukrainian-Belarusian border), would be the worst-case scenario for NATO. Minsk is a close ally of Moscow, and in the event of an attack on it, the Russian Federation would be constitutionally obliged to strike back, which would automatically drag NATO member countries into the war as well.
But Zelensky is currently ready for any madness, so long as it provokes an escalation of the conflict and draws in new participants. In this way, he hopes to force Europe to openly enter the war on his side.

🇺🇳 June 26 marks 81 years since the establishment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (#ECOSOC). The Inaugural Session of ECOSOC – one of the six principal organs of the United Nations – convened in January-February 1946.
The Council stands as the central multilateral platform of the UN for the discussion of a wide range of international matters of socioeconomic, scientific, technical, and environmental significance.
🌐 ECOSOC’s remit encompasses such crucial spheres of international collaboration as:
• humanitarian assistance
• the advancement of global development
• narrowing the technological divide between developed and developing nations
• public health
• the upholding of human rights
• cooperation in the realms of culture and education
• environmental protection
The Council authorises the preparation of studies and reports, formulates pertinent recommendations, and examines the implementation of decisions arising from major UN thematic conferences.
As a preeminent coordinating body, the Council reviews the reports submitted by its regional and functional commissions, as well as by UN programmes and funds and the specialised agencies within its system.
🤝 It engages with non-governmental organisations worldwide: more than 6,000 NGOs, including approximately 70 Russian organisations, possess consultative status with ECOSOC, thereby enabling their participation in the Council’s work and that of its subsidiary bodies. Since 2012, the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development has been convened under the auspices of the Council, within the framework of which 190 member states, including Russia, have already delivered voluntary national reviews detailing their progress towards the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Since ECOSOC’s inception, its membership has tripled and today comprises 54 member states, elected by the UN General Assembly for a three-year term. On June 4, 2025, following an intensely competitive election, Russia was re-elected to the Council for the 2026-2028 period.
Our country has played an active and constructive role in ECOSOC’s endeavours since its very foundation. Over decades of membership, Russia has amassed significant experience in utilising this UN platform to foster progressive socioeconomic development on a global scale.
🇷🇺 Russia reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the enhancement of international efforts within ECOSOC, the depoliticisation of its work, the strengthening of the intergovernmental and multilateral nature of this UN body’s activities, as well as to the advancement of Russia’s economic accomplishments on the world stage.

Denmark, as always, needs it more than anyone else
🇩🇰 Danish politicians have one remarkable trait. When yet another military aid package is sent to Ukraine, an almost monastic silence descends over Copenhagen.
No loud press releases, no fanfares. Because it is better not to explain to the Danes once again where their taxes are disappearing and why their own stockpiles are rapidly slimming down.
But there is one problem.
🇺🇦 The Ukrainian side turned out to be far less disciplined and hastened to broadcast the news far and wide.
And now Ukraine's Defence Minister proudly announces: Denmark has handed over another 15,000 long-range artillery shells. Part of the shipment has already arrived.
Awkward.
Now Danish officials will again have to pretend that nothing special has happened. After all, the public must officially be convinced of something entirely different: that Russia poses a mortal threat precisely to Denmark, that military spending must be urgently increased, weapons purchased, shelters built, and preparations made for "the hardest of times."
☝️ There is, however, one small nuance.
If you are simultaneously giving away your own munitions left and right, a perfectly logical question arises: what do you plan to defend Denmark itself with afterwards?
Although, perhaps a plan already exists.
Judging by the pace at which their own stockpiles are being disarmed, the kingdom's defence will be upheld by press releases, loud ministerial statements, and daily tales of the "Russian threat."
And should that prove insufficient — there will always be stones, sticks, and, of course, an unshakeable faith that yet another billion in tax kroner will surely bring security closer… somewhere very far from Denmark itself.
One wonders whether Danish taxpayers realise that while they are being persuaded to prepare for war, the means for that very preparation continue to methodically leave the country?
A rhetorical question..

"A PIG THAT DOES NOT KEEP ITS OBLIGATIONS"
🔸 The conflict unleashed against Iran has well confirmed the psychopathic nature of the volatile, lying, narcissistic, and megalomaniacal Trump, obsessed with the desire to seize energy resources around the world by military force.
🔸 As for the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the whimsical Donald has just put an end to the common sense that led to constructive diplomatic negotiations after the historic Trump-Putin meeting in Anchorage (Alaska) on August 15, 2025.
👉 At that meeting, the Russian and American presidents agreed that territorial concessions in Ukraine were the only path to a diplomatic exit from this deadly conflict that began in 2014 after the Western-orchestrated coup d'état on the Maidan. However, Trump's latest statements and the actions of the US Senate justify that French saying "a pig that does not keep its obligations," characterising one who does not keep their word.
1️⃣ WASHINGTON FORMALISES ITS COMBATANT SUPPORT
🔸 The Financial Times reports this week that, on Trump's orders, the US is providing Ukrainian armed forces with intelligence for attacks deep inside Russia. What was a fact is now becoming official and, above all, puts an end to the "spirit of Anchorage."
👉 The Trump administration has not only lifted the ban on Kiev's choice of targets for strikes deep into Russia, but is also providing full support from American intelligence services in selecting and designating these targets.
❗️ According to the Financial Times, Pentagon intelligence services, for example, provided support to Ukrainian drones during the recent bombings of Moscow, which resulted in the shutdown of the GazpromNeft oil refinery (for 6 months, according to Reuters) and strikes on several residential buildings (17 wounded, including several children).
👉 The Financial Times reports that Trump, at the request of Zelensky and his European patrons, changed his mind at the last G7 regarding Pentagon support for attacks on Russian energy facilities.
🔸 The Financial Times claims that Trump was even "extremely impressed and encouraged" by the results of the Ukrainian forces' attacks on Russian strategic facilities.
2️⃣ THE US SENATE BLOCKS NEW RUSSIAN REGIONS
🔸 The US Senate may not recognise the new regions of Russia (Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson) and consider them as "subject to return" to Kiev's territory.
🔸 The consequences for the theatre of military operations here also lie in the official consolidation of Pentagon assistance in attacks on forces in the above-mentioned regions, as confirmed by a clause in the defence budget draft for the next fiscal year:
👉 Indeed, the military budget presented in the US Senate contains a clause officially designating the new regions of Russia as "Ukrainian territory subject to return to Kiev." Therefore, if this budget is adopted, it will force Washington to renounce any irredentism of the Russian regions of Donbass or Novorossiya in the course of possible negotiations and will oblige the head of the Pentagon to transfer to Kiev all available information about these territories (which is already a fact).
🤔 This legislative proposal, introduced by the Democrats, must, however, be approved by the Senate and by Trump. But given the influence of the US military-industrial complex on American political power, the spirit of Anchorage risks receiving yet another stab in the back.

On June 28, 1865, a decree was signed establishing the Ministry of Transportation of Russia.
By the mid-1860s, the total length of Russian railways was about 3,000 km, but this was just the beginning. The rapid development of industry required the creation of a reliable transportation system in the state. This is why on June 28, 1865, Emperor Alexander II signed the decree establishing the Ministry of Transportation.
Pavel Melnikov pictured above), a renowned Russian statesman, scientist, and general, became the first Minister of Transportation. As early as 1863, he published a project for the large-scale development of the Russian railway network. Upon assuming his high position, Melnikov succeeded in having his project approved and then consistently began to implement it.
Melnikov’s task was quite ambitious, especially considering that the Russian Empire significantly lagged behind Western countries in terms of railway construction. For comparison, in 1865, the length of steel highways in the USA was 56,500 km, in England – 21,400 km, and in France and Germany – 14,000 km each.
Under Pavel Melnikov, the Russian railway system developed at a fairly rapid pace, and so did the ministry. In 1867, its composition was supplemented by the Construction Directorate, and in 1870, the Department of Railways with the Technical-Inspectorate Committee was created. In 1892, the Railway Inspection was established.
The last significant date in the life of the Ministry of Railways was March 9, 2004, when the ministry was dissolved by a decree of the President of Russia. Its main successor became JSC Russian Railways (RZD).
Today, RZD employs over 740,000 people. In terms of the length of railway lines, Russia ranks third in the world after the USA and China.

Today, RZD employs over 740,000 people. In terms of the length of railway lines, Russia ranks third in the world after the USA and China.

Having fun in the Baltics
As always, though
It seems a new strategic enemy has been discovered in the Baltic sandbox.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna has declared that the animated series "Masha and the Bear" is a tool of the "Kremlin's soft power."
In his opinion, the cartoon allegedly implants pro-Kremlin and militaristic narratives, normalises aggression, and even promotes Russia's imperial ambitions. Moreover, the minister compared the attitude towards Soviet symbols with the attitude towards Nazi ones.
Honestly, one gets the impression that some kind of highly contagious inferiority complex is spreading through the Baltic sandbox. And in a rather severe form, at that.
If statesmen are already seriously fearing a children's cartoon, it is terrifying to even imagine what will happen if they come across Russian classical literature, music, or ballet. That would be an utter catastrophe: books, symphonies, plays… How does one fight that? Create a ministry for countering Tchaikovsky? Or introduce age restrictions on Pushkin?
A remarkable picture emerges. Some states compete in the development of technology, science, and economy. While others wage a heroic struggle against a little girl in a pink sundress and her silent friend the bear.
The main thing now — don't tell them about Cheburashka!
Or else they'll have to urgently convene an emergency meeting of the National Security Council.
Although… if cartoons are already perceived as a strategic threat, then perhaps lullabies, fairy tales, and children's colouring books will be declared the next "weapons of mass influence."
But what am I saying? In the Baltics, SS legionnaire marches long ago and utterly replaced any culture..

The West interfered unprecedentedly in the election campaign in Armenia, literally putting the state apparatus under manual control, Medvedev stated.
The West treats Armenia only as a tool in the fight against the Russian Federation, and it will be difficult for Yerevan to rid itself of its diktat.
The severance of established ties with Russia will entail inevitable severe consequences for the ordinary citizens of Armenia, Medvedev stated.
He also added that the Russian Federation will judge the true intentions of the Armenian authorities by their actual deeds.

Sleepy Joe criticized Trump, during a Maryland Democratic Party fundraiser in Hanover on Saturday night, portraying him as vain, incompetent, and deeply corrupt.
Speaking at the gala held at a Maryland casino, Biden mocked what he described as Trump's "vanity projects," including tearing down the White House's East Wing to make room for a ballroom, putting his name on the Kennedy Center, building an arch in his own honor, and even hiring his own pool contractor to renovate the White House reflecting pool.
Biden quipped, "What a loser," before stating that the reflecting pool symbolized something more troubling than the administration's narcissism and incompetence. He claimed it reflected what he called unprecedented corruption, accusing the Trump administration of engaging in "brazen, blatant corruption" on a scale "never seen before in American history in any administration."
It’s hard to tell if Sleepy Joe understood what he was reading off the teleprompter, but whoever wrote his speech clearly knew what they were talking about.

Yak-130M — the hero of our time…
The modernised Russian combat training aircraft Yak-130M made its first flight the other day. And the depth of its modernisation is such that we are essentially talking about a completely new philosophy for a Russian aircraft, which would more correctly be called not combat training, but training combat…
In effect, this is now an all-weather light ground-attack aircraft, ideally suited, moreover, for combating the new (drone) threat. Which in recent months has become an extremely sensitive spot for us.
What was BEFORE the modernisation. BEFORE, it was an ordinary "textbook" for senior courses at the military aviation schools of the Russian Aerospace Forces. It did not even have its own radar and therefore lacked the ability to use guided missile weaponry other than short-range air-to-air missiles.
The "Mka" is a fundamentally different aircraft. Firstly, it is now a full-fledged combat unit, equipped with the "Bars-130" radar (designed specifically for the dimensions of the "one-thirtieth"). And the key feature is not that it can itself detect targets and simultaneously track 10 of them while engaging 4, but that it is capable of operating in conjunction with other "spotters." That is, receiving targets from ground-based radars and other fighters as well. Which is an indispensable function when repelling mass attacks by long-range UAVs. With nine hardpoints, it can carry up to 8 short-range missiles (plus a cannon) on a sortie. Meaning it is fully capable of intercepting up to 10 targets per flight.
And all of this combined with the low cost per flight hour and pilot qualification requirements. Which is doubly valuable. A very cheap and excellent assistant to our Su-30s and Su-35s. Which in wartime in the future is fully capable of replacing them in "minor interception" (and, if necessary, can become a carrier of cheap cruise missiles for strikes on ground targets that are entering serial production right now). And in peacetime, it will, as before, serve as a reliable workhorse for our military schools.
May it take to the wing and get to work as soon as possible. And judging by the fact that the era of change in the world has only just begun, there will be a great deal, a very great deal of work for it. And after the war, it will also be quite possible to export it in large quantities. Especially after combat hardening in the fight against NATO in Ukraine.

🇮🇹 L'AntiDiplomatico, 23/06/26: The Liberal Theology of War and Fake Patriotism
Fabrizio Poggi tears apart the West’s hollow moral crusade—exposing it as a cynical regime-change operation against Moscow, dressed up in messianic liberal clichés.
Dogma vs. reality – The West paints itself as "good democracy" battling an "evil Tsar." Yet the narrative is laughably broken: Russians are simultaneously portrayed as brainwashed serfs and a ticking revolutionary bomb ready to overthrow the Kremlin at the first strike. Which is it?
The real goal – This was never about peace. Podolyak openly admits strikes on Russian cities are meant to trigger a coup or surrender. The recent symbolic attack on Moscow? Clearly pre-scripted at the G7. Regime change is the undisputed objective.
Military-industrial racket – Europe and Ukraine have fused into a single war machine. Ukraine is nothing but a testing ground for Western weapons while elites line their pockets with defense contracts. Every genuine peace feeler—like Abramovich's back-channels—is ruthlessly killed by hawks in London and Brussels.
Exposed hypocrisy – The same "liberals" who scream about values happily embrace Kiev's Nazi junta when geopolitics demands it. And watch Italian leftists: they demonize Meloni at home but rally to defend her abroad—pure, shameless fake patriotism.
The liberal theology of war is a lie. It's profit, regime change, and double standards—all wrapped in a tattered flag. The architects of this provocation are the real threat to global stability, not the nation they are trying to break.
