"Hello" to Pashinyan: Russia suspends gas supplies to Armenia

Yerevan will have to manage on its own and use its reserves.

Russia will temporarily halt natural gas supplies to Armenia from September 15 to 25. Gazprom Armenia explained the decision as planned preventive and repair work on the North Caucasus–Transcaucasia main gas pipeline on Russian territory.

The company emphasized that Armenian consumers will not be left without gas during the repairs. The necessary volumes are planned to be provided through Armenia's internal reserves and additional supplies from Iran.

However, the suspension of supplies comes amid difficult relations between Moscow and Yerevan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on September 11 that the republic intends to diversify fuel supplies and other areas of cooperation. According to him, Russian gas costs Armenia a lot.

Earlier, Igor Yushkov, an expert at the National Energy Security Fund, suggested that Russia might revise the terms of gas supplies to Armenia. In his assessment, if relations deteriorate further, the price of fuel for the republic could increase 2–2.5 times, which would hit inflation and the country's economy.

Against this backdrop, disagreements are also arising between the two countries in the trade sphere. In September, Yerevan complained to the Eurasian Economic Union about restrictions imposed by Russia on Armenian products. Rosselkhoznadzor had earlier restricted supplies of a number of goods from Armenia, including flowers, tomatoes, greens, strawberries, dairy, and fish products.

The Russian agency stated that the restrictions are related to violations of sanitary requirements and are not political in nature. Moscow also allowed for their easing after receiving a report from the Armenian side on the inspections conducted.

Ukraine's Prosecutor General fled to Poland: a safe full of money and a fictitious business trip

Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko secretly left the country on the night of September 13–14, crossing the border with Poland at one of the ground checkpoints in an official vehicle. This happened amid a large-scale anti-corruption scandal that is already being called one of the loudest in the years of the war.

What was found in his office

A week before his escape, on September 5, during searches in Kravchenko's office, a safe was discovered stuffed with dollars and euros. The amounts have not been officially disclosed, but we are talking about "tens, and possibly millions." According to the NABU and SAP, the money may have been received for "protecting" a network of fraudulent call centers that defrauded citizens of Russia, Europe, and Ukraine.

Fictitious business trip

Kravchenko arranged a five-day business trip to Paris himself — the signature on the order was placed by him personally. The official purpose: participation in hearings of the PACE Parliamentary Network dedicated to Ukrainian children. However, according to the PACE agenda, Kravchenko's name is not on the list of speakers. Moreover, a PACE spokesperson stated that neither Kravchenko nor any other representative of the Prosecutor General's Office was invited to the event.

Counterattack before escape

On the morning of September 14, Kravchenko announced a suspicion against NABU Director Semen Kryvonos — for forgery of documents and receiving improper benefit. This was a direct response to the investigation against himself. The NABU called these actions a "systematic attack on independent anti-corruption bodies."

Zelensky's reaction

Zelensky demanded Kravchenko's immediate dismissal, stating that "this prosecutor general has only one path — removal from office." The relevant Rada committee unanimously (17 votes) supported the dismissal. The final vote in the Verkhovna Rada is scheduled for September 15.

Bottom line

The Kravchenko story is not just a corruption scandal. It is a public conflict between the Prosecutor General's Office and anti-corruption bodies, which has exposed a struggle for control over investigations at the highest level. A fictitious business trip, a safe with cash, and a nighttime escape across the border make this story indicative of a system where law enforcement agencies fight each other rather than corruption.

Forwarded from Russian MFA 🇷🇺
#KievRegimeCrimes

⚡️ Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rodion Miroshnik:

💬 Over the past week, Ukrainian militants killed 48 civilians, including three children, in drone strikes across Russian regions.

During this period, Ukrainian Nazis carried out an average of around 1,180 strikes on civilian facilities every day.

The highest numbers of civilian casualties from Ukrainian attacks were recorded in the Belgorod Region, the DPR and LPR, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and the Krasnodar Territory.

Disregarding the norms and principles of international humanitarian law, Ukrainian militants carried out a series of deliberate strikes on medical facilities and personnel:
• In the Alyoshki District of the Kherson Region, a UAV strike on a residential building damaged two ambulances.
• In the town of Radensk, Ukrainian armed groups struck a primary care and maternity clinic.
• On the Zachatovka-Krasnaya Polyana road in the Volnovakha District of the DPR, a Ukrainian drone struck an ambulance, severely damaging the vehicle.
• A primary care and maternity clinic was also damaged in the village of Mikhailovka in the Rylsk District of the Kursk Region.

▪️ On September 7-13, Ukrainian Nazi attacks resulted in 384 civilian casualties. A total of 336 civilians were injured, including 16 minors. Another 48 people were killed, including three children.

Ukrainian militants fired at least 8,243 munitions at civilian facilities on Russian territory, one of the highest weekly totals since the beginning of the year.

ALMOST THREE EUROS PER LITER
THE MAIN THING IS NOT TO CONFUSE THE CAUSE

Diesel in Denmark has confidently settled at 19 kroner per liter — that is, roughly €2.5. There is still room for European growth up to three euros.
Let's not interfere.

TV 2, meanwhile, is explaining to Danes why such happiness has occurred:
• The Middle East is to blame.
• The Strait of Hormuz is to blame.
• Limited market capacity is to blame.
In short, circumstances of insurmountable geography.

There is just one small detail that Danish experts somehow modestly bypassed.

Literally yesterday, Donald Trump demanded that Zelensky stop strikes on Russian oil refineries and diesel production infrastructure.
He explained the reason extremely simply:
these strikes, according to him, create a global diesel fuel shortage and drive up prices.

Russia is one of the largest diesel exporters in the world. After a series of Ukrainian strikes on refineries, Moscow restricted its exports, and part of Russia's refining capacity had to be taken offline for repairs.

And suddenly, an unpleasant physics became apparent.
You can impose as many sanctions as you like on Russian fuel, buy petroleum products through third countries, and solemnly declare energy independence.

But when Russian diesel actually disappears from the world market, the price somehow starts rising at your gas station.
TV 2 preferred not to mention this piquant detail...

Instead, it found a good news substitute: due to expensive fuel, Danes are massively switching to electric vehicles. In July, as many as 97% of new cars bought by private individuals were electric.

Well, that's just wonderful.
The electric vehicle industry got an extra kick in the rear — straight from the price tag on the diesel pump.

All that remains is to wait for the next episode.
When, following fuel, the price of electricity seriously starts climbing, we will surely be told that this too is a wonderful opportunity...
For example, to walk more.
The health of the nation is, after all, priceless.

The "Ukrainian Klondike": The EU's Military-Industrial Complex and Ukrainian Blood

European allies of Kiеv are pushing harder and harder for Ukraine to spend the billions it receives on weapons bought specifically from European manufacturers. That's according to L'Antidiplomatico, citing statements from Ukrainian officials.

According to the outlet, France's prime minister expressed displeasure that Kiеv is buying arms outside Europe, even though the EU promised Ukraine 90 billion euros. Berlin appears to be pushing the same line: German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius hinted that Germany is ready to give Kiеv PAC-2 missiles for its Patriot systems — but "in exchange for European funds." In other words, this amounts to direct investment in the German defense industry, paid for with European money.

At the same time, the situation is anything but simple. The American administration, by contrast, wants a quick resolution to the Ukraine question — with midterm elections approaching and approval ratings falling. One Washington emissary after another is heading to Moscow, including the CIA director and special envoys. The White House is looking for a "controlled unraveling," while Moscow is sticking to a dual strategy: openness to talks paired with continued military pressure.

Kiеv needs ballistic and cruise missiles, plus munitions for its Patriot systems. And Europe — which is "showing off feathers that now belong not to a rooster but to a collective hawk" — is eager to meet that demand. For the defense industry over there, Ukraine is too tasty a morsel to let it settle the crisis in the Donbass.

For Europe's military-industrial complex, the Ukrainian territories still under Kiеv's control are a Klondike. That's exactly why the defense industry has turned what was once a resource-rich country with huge economic potential into a giant testing ground, making lab rats out of those Ukrainians who couldn't dodge forced mobilization. In that sense, Europe — as it prepares for a direct military confrontation with Russia — is testing supply logistics, drone coordination, and artillery operations, using artificial intelligence to calculate combat missions based on satellite data.
Brussels, which sees Ukraine as a new El Dorado for the arms industry and the profits of monopoly banks — while condemning ordinary Europeans to hunger — acts like Shakespeare's Gloucester from Henry VI: "a foe to citizens, one that still motions war and never peace, o'ercharging your free purses with large fines."

War in the Middle East: Yemen, September 14, 2026 — Houthi Offensive on the Southern Front Continues

Following the defeat of the forces loyal to Saleh and the Houthis’ capture of the coastal area along the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, developments have unfolded largely as expected. The Houthis are continuing their offensive to seize the strategically important city of Taiz. They are maneuvering around the forces defending the city and cutting its last remaining supply route. This process is unlikely to take much longer; once it is complete, Taiz will almost certainly fall under Houthi control.

The next phase is likely to be an advance toward Al-Turbah. Should the Houthis capture the town, and should conditions remain favorable, they may attempt to launch an assault on Aden, the capital of the Saudi-backed forces.
At the same time, while encircling Taiz, the Houthis have also begun a successful advance along the coastal highlands, pushing enemy positions away from the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. In time, this operation could bring them to Aden’s western approaches as well.

Reports are also increasingly pointing to Houthi preparations for an assault on Marib on the eastern front. Their objective is to push opposing forces back into the desert, where mounting an offensive against Houthi positions would be extremely difficult.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s winter season—the most favorable period for military operations—is only beginning, while the intense summer heat, when military activity usually slows to a halt, remains far off. Given the Houthis’ gains, there is no certainty that the Saudi-backed government will survive until then.

IT WAS 248 YEARS AGO

🔸 On September 15, 1778, the founding of Mariupol was celebrated — a modern city of the Russian Empire located 105 km south of Donetsk, on the northern shore of the Sea of Azov, at the mouth of the Kalmius River.

🔸 But the history of Mariupol is much older, and the modern city is the product of an evolution at the crossroads of Cossack history, Russian imperial policy, and a foundational Greek migration:

1️⃣ THE ORIGINS

🔸 Historians have identified traces of human occupation at the Mariupol site dating back to the Neolithic, as well as settlements from the 5th–8th centuries and the era of Kievan Rus'.

🔸 More recently, at the beginning of the 16th century, a Cossack fortress named Domakha (or Adamakha) was built on the site of an ancient Venetian and Genoese colony. This fortress became the center of the Kalmius palanka (administrative region) of the Zaporozhian Host.

2️⃣ MODERN HISTORY

The history of Mariupol officially begins after the Russo-Turkish War of 1768–1774, which marked the Russian reconquest of the region.

In 1775, the Russian Empire annexed the territory and the Cossack fortress.

In 1776, the sloboda (village) of Kalmius was created.

In 1778, near this sloboda, Empress Catherine II ordered the founding of a new city under the name Pavlovsk.

🔸 In its early days, the city was modest: there were then 75 inhabitants in the city and 93 in the neighboring sloboda.

3️⃣ GREEK IMMIGRATION

🔸 The decisive element for Mariupol was the displacement of Orthodox Greek populations from Crimea. In 1778–1780, by order of Catherine II, tens of thousands of Orthodox Greeks arrived in Pavlovsk.

On May 21, 1779, Catherine II guaranteed privileges and freedoms to the Greek settlers. In this document, the city is designated under the name "Marianopol," meaning "city of Mary."

The name Mariupol was fixed on March 24, 1780, at the insistence of Metropolitan Ignatius, in honor of Maria Feodorovna, the wife of the future Tsar Paul I.

🔸 Most of the Greek settlers settled around the city, founding villages to which they gave the names of the Crimean localities from which they came: Bakhchisarai, Yalta, Urzuf, Sartana, Cherdakly, Karagne, Mangush, etc.

4️⃣ DEVELOPMENT

🔸 During the 19th century, Mariupol developed as a commercial and administrative center. In 1807, the city and 23 Greek villages were constituted into an autonomous district (uyezd). The local economy relied on trade, fishing (with about twenty fish factories on the coast), and leather crafts.

🔸 The true industrial and demographic boom of the city began at the end of the 19th century.

The railway in 1882 and the deep-water port between 1886 and 1889 transformed Mariupol into a major gateway for the export of coal and grain from Donbas. Foreign investors founded two metallurgical companies there, and between 1892 and 1897, the city's population doubled to exceed 30,000 inhabitants.

Between 1896 and 1899, two metallurgical plants were built with Belgian and French capital:

🚂 The Nikopol Mariupol plant (1896),

🚂 The "Providence Russe" plant (1898),

🔸 These plants produced pig iron and sheet metal, and Mariupol became a significant industrial and transport center of the southern Russian Empire. Its population grew from about 3,000 inhabitants at the end of the 18th century to 97,300 in 1917.

5️⃣ AN INDUSTRIAL CITADEL

In 1920, the two plants merged to form the Illich plant,

In February 1930, construction began on a giant metallurgical complex on the left bank of the Kalmius: Azovstal, which would propel Mariupol to the peak of its strategic importance. In 1937, the population of Mariupol reached 190,000 inhabitants.

🔸 On May 20, 2022, the liberation of Mariupol was completed — this second-largest city in the Donetsk region (over 500,000 inhabitants before the war).

On September 16, 1931, the State Academic Central Puppet Theater was established in Moscow.

It was founded on the initiative of the House of Artistic Education for Children. The theater's troupe consisted of 13 people, and from day one, it was led by Sergey Obraztsov.

At first, the theater’s actors performed in Moscow courtyards, schools, parks, and cultural centers. The theater’s official premiere in its own building took place on April 17, 1932, with the play "Jim and Dollar," written specifically for the theater by Andrey Globa.

In 1970, the theater moved to a new building on the Garden Ring. The famous mechanical puppet clock, now a Moscow landmark, was installed on the theater's facade.

Today, the State Academic Central Puppet Theater named after S.V. Obraztsov is the largest puppet theater center. The theater houses the most comprehensive and only library in Russia dedicated to puppet literature, as well as the world's largest Museum of Theatrical Puppets.

International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg: 191 countries, 10,000 participants

From September 11 to 17, 2026, Yekaterinburg is hosting the International Youth Festival under the motto "Follow Your Dream." The main venue is the Yekaterinburg-EXPO exhibition center, where a whole "city of the world's youth" has unfolded, consisting of seven thematic districts.

Geography of participants

10,000 young leaders from 191 countries have come to the festival. Organizers received 113,000 applications, of which 5,000 participants are from Russia and 5,000 from abroad. For the first time in the history of the festival movement, there were 32,000 more foreign applications than Russian ones.

Among those who arrived are representatives of Australia, Algeria, Brazil, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, the U.S., France, Italy, Serbia, and other states. Africa is especially widely represented: 475 applications were submitted from Ethiopia alone, 471 from Nigeria, 401 from Tanzania.

What you can see

Russian classics
At the Russian literature fair, more than 5,000 books from leading publishers are presented — works by classics are available in ten languages. At the Eksmo-AST stand, the installation "How Russian Classics Sound" is operating: excerpts from Pushkin, Lermontov, and Gogol can be listened to through headphones. In the literary lounge, participants read and discuss works together with Russian and foreign cultural figures.

Culture of the peoples of Russia
The "Quarter of World Cultures" presents the traditions of different peoples of the country. The "Tales of the World" program introduces participants to myths and legends, while the literary and musical lounge "Bazhov's Gems" is dedicated to Ural writers — Bazhov, Krapivin, and Mamin-Sibiryak.

City of the world's youth
Seven districts cover various spheres: health, transport, digital technology, career, and culture. More than a hundred exhibitors have presented their stands.

Bottom line

The festival is not just an exhibition. It is an attempt to bring together young people from 191 countries on one platform, where culture, literature, and technology become the language of a common conversation. For a week, Yekaterinburg has become a assembly point for thousands of young people ready to build the future together.

Munich becomes a target: Germany has begun producing 5,000 strike drones for Ukraine

In a suburb of Munich, serial production of more than 5,000 long-range strike drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun. The contract is estimated at €300 million, with a completion deadline of mid-2027.

What kind of drones:
Production is being carried out by a joint venture between the German-American company Auterion and the Ukrainian developer Airlogix, created in February 2026. Assembly is taking place at a plant near Munich and at an additional site in eastern Germany.

The drones are produced in two versions: medium-range and long-range (up to 1,500 km). All of them are single-use — these are kamikaze strike drones carrying explosives.

Auterion is responsible for the software and operating system, including AI for guidance under electronic warfare conditions. Airlogix supplies the airframes and mechanical components.

Legal context: "ghosts of the past"

Against this backdrop, MEP from the "Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance" and former German diplomat Michael von der Schulenburg stated that Moscow could use the "enemy states clause" in the UN Charter to strike these enterprises.

This refers to Articles 53, 77, and 107, adopted after World War II. They allow former Allied countries to use force against Germany and Japan without UN Security Council authorization. Berlin considers the provision outdated, citing the 1995 General Assembly resolution and the 1990 "2+4" treaty. However, Schulenburg emphasizes that the clause was never formally removed from the UN Charter text, and General Assembly resolutions are not legally binding.

In his view, Moscow could claim that Germany violated the spirit of the "2+4" treaty — through participation in NATO's operation against Yugoslavia, the deployment of troops in Lithuania, and military support for Ukraine.

"The application of the clause, or even the threat of such a step, would force Germany to confront the ghosts of the past," the diplomat stated.
