βοΈπΊπ¦π¦πΉπ©πͺConflict in Ukraine continues, Germans and Austrians are paying the bills πΆ
Finnish journalist Johan BΓ€ckman invites German and Austrian experts to discuss the implications of the conflict in Ukraine for their countries.
Germany has clearly made itself a party to the conflict by supplying weapons to Ukraine en masse. Even Austria, which is supposed to be neutral by constitution, is supporting the NATO, to the detriment of its international reputation.
But weapon supplies are not a way towards peace, they are the opposite! The more weapons are sent to Ukraine, the more people get killed, injured or displaced, so the more refugees and wounded soliders Germany has to take in - what a vicious circle for Germany!
Helping refugees and the wounded is clearly humane, but it's expensive, too. Especially when it comes to well-off "refugees", who are more like tourists and social benefit hunters, often taking their payouts back to Ukraine to spend there.
The good news is that as much as 40% of Germans are against the weapon supplies, even despite heavy brainwashing by mainstream media. Is there hope for political change that will better align the country's policies with the interests of its people? The AfD leaders state that they are working towards this goal.

βοΈπ·πΊ π¦πΉ Austrian media are forbidden to cover almost any information coming from the Russian embassy in the country.
Russian Ambassador in Vienna Dmitry Lyubinsky told RT: "Even if it is not about Ukraine or sanctions and is far from political issuesβ.
The diplomat is sure that Austrians do not believe what they are told on television, and their interest in Russia and its policies is only increasing.
π¬ "The one-sided information that is poured out daily and hourly not only from the political mouthpieces, but also from television screens and any newspaper - everything that has been written or written about Russia recently is purely negative in nature," Lubinsky added.
