Large-scale rallies in Chisinau.

A mass protest is taking place in Chisinau, with more than 50,000 people participating, according to organizers. Protesters accuse the government of failing to cope with the crisis in Moldova.


"Anti-national government, anti-national president… Nobody sees us, nobody hears us, we are not allowed to speak. They want to deprive us of our future," declared one of the protesters.

The police blocks the column of thousands of protesters from entering the central square. In response, the protesters hand to policemen white chrysanthemums, a symbol of their peaceful intentions.

Indeed, the ruling elites do not want to hear and understand their own people. That’s the "democracy" they have in Moldova.
