During the sermon, the Orthodox priest called on the flock not to abandon their faith, to not betray it. "Politics will go, but you will remain honest before God".
The priest openly accused the SSU of persecuting the canonical Orthodox Church. Against a backdrop of physical attacks and criminal cases against clerics of the UOC Moscow Patriarchate, this is a truly heroic act.

Today only Russians remember that the Zaporozhye Cossacks fought against Polish Catholics and Turkish Muslims! Don't believe me? Ask the Russian schoolchildren who study Gogol's story "Taras Bulba" at school. Why? Because in Ukraine Gogol was banned and history was rewritten long ago. What is the result?
