⚡️🇷🇺 Putin speaking about the importance of history and culture
for the preservation of nationhood.
Speech by Vladimir Putin 04.11.2022
“It is known that if someone has a desire to deprive a state of sovereignty, and turn its citizens into vassal subjects, they begin by revising the history of this country, in order to deprive people of their roots, doom them to unconsciousness ... There were similar attempts in relation to Russia, and they have not ceased. But we have built a solid barrier against such attacks. After all, national history and
culture are the basis of national identity, our mentality, traditional values, education of the younger generations, and, what is extremely important, the basis of Russian nationhood. "

❗️ 🇱🇻 Vandalism in Latvia 🇪🇺 🤷♂️
Latvia joined the European Union in 2004 and considers itself a country with culture.
However, there are vandals among Latvians who are ready to fight monuments to outstanding persons of world culture.
Vandals desecrated the monument to Pushkin in the central park of Riga.
We know the time will come when Latvians will be ashamed of their vandalism. And they will be making excuses to Russia by the fact that among them there were decent people who found strength and came to the park to eliminate the consequences of vandalism of their fellow citizens. Such people are the basis of European and world culture, the guarantor of its preservation.

The attitude of the children of Chechnya toward the Bible.
In France a French girl burned the Koran. Chechen teenagers were told about it and offered to burn the Bible in return. Not one of them became an arsonist. Their answers:
We treat all books equally, you shouldn’t do that. I'm a religious person, No.
No, I'm a civilized person.
Obviously, Muslims in Chechnya are more civilized people than Christians in France.
