β—οΈπŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί "I want to assure those who favor dishonest tactics and shameless extortion over commercial alliances and market mechanisms that we won't play against our own interests. Keep this in mind!"

This is how the RF President addressed those who are trying to pressure Russia into selling energy resources to Europe at reduced prices.

The addition of a price cap for Russian energy supplies to the next sanctions package is another attempt to cripple the Russian economy, which is actually intended to address their own energy issues.

"Russia will not act contrary to common sense and shoulder the cost of others’ well-being on its own. We will not supply energy resources to those countries that will cap the prices," the President said.

It is high time for Europe to understand that anything undertaken to undermine Russia by EU under US leadership first affects the European economy and that the main beneficiary of all these crisis processes is their transoceanic overseer.

Putin suggested that Germans go to Siberia for firewood.

In 2010, answering questions from participants of an economic forum in Berlin, Vladimir Putin was surprised by Germany's energy policy:
"I don't understand, what will you use for heating? You don't want gas, you don't develop nuclear power. Are you going to use wood for heating? But you have to go to Siberia for firewood. You don't even have any firewood," he said.
Then everyone in the hall laughed in unison. Twelve years have passed...
