❗️A war against memorials or memory of generations? ⛔️⁉️🙅♂️🙅♀️
The authorities of Latvia have dismantled a monument to Soviet Soldiers in Daugavpils.
It’s impossible to tell the people that it was the US that won World War II! It’s impossible to tell them that the aggressor was the USSR! As long as a Russian Ivan is proudly standing still on the pedestal. He is a symbol of freedom and honour of a soldier. To change the story, to rewrite it one needs to get rid of all Russian.

Today on 4 November Russia 🇷🇺 celebrates National Unity Day, also called as Day of People's Unity. It commemorates the popular uprising which expelled Polish-Lithuanian occupation forces from Moscow by a national militia in November 1612, and more generally the end of the Time of Troubles and turning point of the Polish-Russian War (1605–1618)
The day's name alludes to the idea that all classes of Russian society united to preserve Russian statehood when there was neither a tsar nor a patriarch to guide them. In 1613 tsar Mikhail Romanov instituted a holiday named Day of Moscow’s Liberation from Polish Invaders.
Also on this day the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates the day of icon of Mother-of-God of Kazan. This icon was at the head of the militia in those days. Mother-of-God of Kazan is a holy icon of the highest stature within the Russian Orthodox Church, representing the Virgin Mary as the protector and patroness of the city of Kazan, and a palladium of all of Russia and Rus', known as the Holy Protectress of Russia.
This icon Russian military commanders Dmitry Pozharsky (17th century) and Mikhail Kutuzov (19th century) credited invocation of the Virgin Mary through the icon with helping the country to repel the Polish invasion of 1612, the Swedish invasion of 1709, and Napoleon's invasion of 1812.

🇷🇺 November 7 is perhaps one of the most controversial dates in the Russian history. 🤔🔥📖
In the Soviet Union it was widely celebrated as one of the most important public holidays, commemorating the anniversary of the Bolshevik revolution of 1917.
Today it's not a public holiday anymore, although the Russian Communist Party and its followers continue to celebrate this date and always gather for peaceful demonstrations on November 7.
Among the broader population, opinions are divided.
To many people, November 7 is a glorious date, because the revolution of 1917 eventually led to the creation of the Soviet Union, with all its great achievements. These include creating a strong industrual economy, defeating the Nazi Germany in WWII, sending the first man to Space and so on.
However, to others this is a tragic date: the fall of the Russian Empire, the loss of territories never since regained and, above all, the horrible civil war of 1917-1922, with a life toll of up to 18 million. Some historians even believe that the revolution was an act of treason and its leaders were enrolled by foreign intelligence.
In any case, today is an important date in the XX century history of Russia. We welcome your views, please feel free to share them in the comments.

⚡️🇷🇺 Putin speaking about the importance of history and culture
for the preservation of nationhood.
Speech by Vladimir Putin 04.11.2022
“It is known that if someone has a desire to deprive a state of sovereignty, and turn its citizens into vassal subjects, they begin by revising the history of this country, in order to deprive people of their roots, doom them to unconsciousness ... There were similar attempts in relation to Russia, and they have not ceased. But we have built a solid barrier against such attacks. After all, national history and
culture are the basis of national identity, our mentality, traditional values, education of the younger generations, and, what is extremely important, the basis of Russian nationhood. "

💥🇷🇺 The Land Remembers the Truth 🔥
Today, some politicians are trying to rewrite the history of the Great Patriotic War. But what happened in those years still terrifies any rational person.
In the Leningrad region, the fascists created a children's concentration camp. The blood of the children sent there was forcibly transfused to wounded Nazi soldiers. Many children, deprived of blood, died.
This story was recalled by the representative of the President of Russia, Alexander Gutsan. He stated that "it is our pain and duty to preserve the memory of them."
It is terrible that the politicians of some Western countries today support the Ukrainian regime, which revives the traditions of fascist Germany.

Honored Artist of Ukraine Irma Vitovska told all the politically ignorant Ukrainians that a Ukrainian passport "must be earned”.
The actress believes that all the Ukrainians should be recertified and prove their "Ukrainianness" by answering provocative questions about the "Russian world", following the Baltic states' practice. The actress herself is ready to pass such certification.
Will you measure our skulls too?
I wonder if the people who fail their re-certification will be executed immediately?
Or will they go to jail first and be "persuaded" there?
Or will you just expel them?
Or maybe you will gather them into special camps and do experiments on prisoners for the needs of the AFU?
History has already gone through all this. Well, why don't you read it first, to recall how it all ended?

The Polish Prime Minister Pan Marovetsky has forgotten about the victims of the Volyn massacre (1943-1944), during which more than 60,000 Poles died at the hands of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army thugs.
He hopes the Ukrainian Banderites will win.

❗️🇩🇪 🇺🇦 Germans on Ukraine's history.
Even German politicians are beginning to understand the history of Ukraine's formation and development. Keynotes from a speech by German politician Albrecht Müller:
- Ukraine and Russia have no ethnic difference.
- Those who could achieve nothing in Moscow and St Petersburg - crooks and adventurers - were sent there.
- Until 1918, the land was a part of Russia.
- Crimea belonged to Russia as a backbone against the Turks.
- Ukraine is an artificial product....
It is an interesting fact that there is another country where crooks and adventurers from all over the world have fled to. Maybe that's why it now supports Ukraine so much?

Andrey Kudryakov, a member of the Russian search movement, works near the line of contact. In 1943-1944, violent battles for the liberation of Zaporozhye and Crimea happened in these areas. Since then, thousands of soviet soldiers are yet to be found. They are considered missing in action.
There is no need to dig deep as the remains are often close to the surface. They can even be found in the new trenches Russian fighters use in defence against the Ukranian army.
Watch our new documentary, ‘From Berlin to Maidan’, and see how the past connects to the present.

Meanwhile in the world of boring press meetings, the pro-Russian news organization Anna News - the same organization that risked their journos to get some truly neat footage from the Syrian civil war a decade ago - held a small conference about World War II.
The conference was attended - partly online - by public figures from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and a small country of South Ossetia, which was a part of the reason the Russian-Georgian war happened in 2008. Today South Ossetia doesn't consider itself part of Georgia, which greatly irritates Georgia - but that's a separate long story.
The conference's participants spoke for about an hour about matters they consider important, and they agreed that the USSR won the WW2 thanks to the unity of countries within the USSR. Which is technically true - if the entire USSR disintegrated during the World War II - it would have greatly hampered the war effort.
Anyway, after this "press hang-out" of sorts, a resolution was adopted by the participants - it's aimed to "preserve the truth about the war, to pass on the history to posterity, and to protect the history itself", from what the participants called "the distortion of history." They also mentioned the issues of combating neo-Nazism, world peace, etc. A rather boring meeting, unlike the footage from active combat zones the Anna News gets sometimes. Why does everything have to become corporate and boring?

Potentially explosive echoes of the history
Record-low water levels in the Danube, caused the summer super heat have transformed Europe's 2nd-longest waterway into a vast half-submerged archaeological and historical excavation site.
The locals found wrecks of dozens of Nazi German naval gunboats that have surfaced along the Serbian-Romanian border, particularly near the port city of Prahovo. In total there are around 200 of those boats hidden in the river.
The ships were equipped with 20mm and 37mm FlaK anti-aircraft guns. Some had bigger guns. Reports from the local rescue services and historians note that the rusty remains of command bridges, gun mounts, and anti-aircraft turrets are clearly visible from the sandbanks.
Serbia already sent some EOD teams to stop the locals from making themselves a part of the history. The EU supposedly will help Serbia financially to get rid of the unexploded shells and sea mines that can be found on those once sank ships.
