According to him, along with colleagues Sergei Prokopyev and Anna Kikina, they prepared a salad in the space version of Olivier (the station ran out of green peas, so it had to be replaced by corn), as well as a cake from the "international" set of products. Then they gathered together with NASA astronauts in the Russian segment of the ISS and celebrated the holiday.
"We watched the Russian movie "Operation Y and Other Adventures of Shurik," the astronauts also laughed. We talked a lot, shared traditions of the Russian New Year," Petelin added.
