Lavrov commented on Borrell's words.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Borrell of racism and disparaging attitude towards other countries. He publicly read his comment about the Russian foreign minister's visit to Africa and noted that such things can be said by a man who is not able to hide the racist essence of his vision of the world. The Russian Foreign Minister reminded Borrell how he compared Europe to a blooming garden, himself to a gardener, and the surrounding world to a jungle to be feared.
