🔸The real danger now is that Biden will soon appear on television to repeat Lyndon Johnson's 1965 speech, replacing the word "South Vietnam" with "Ukraine."

🔸NATO governments' views on the war in Ukraine are divided. With the exception of Poland and perhaps Romania, none of the NATO members are in a hurry to mobilize their forces for a long and exhausting war against Russia in Ukraine. No one in London, Paris or Berlin wants to risk a nuclear war with Moscow.

🔸Americans do not favor a war with Russia, and the few who do are ideologues, shallow political opportunists or greedy military-industrial lobby entrepreneurs.
