⚡️🇩🇪🕯 Germans were offered to warm themselves on Christmas with candles on a Christmas tree

German Bundestag opposition leader Friedrich Merz stated that he uses real candles as decorations for the Christmas tree. According to the politician, "this alone naturally increases the temperature in the room.”

But readers of the German newspaper Die Welt did not appreciate CDU party leader Friedrich Merz's statement about his energy-saving ways during the fuel crisis. Many commentators pointed out the extreme danger of this way of saving energy. 🤷‍♀️

💬"I am shocked by such a ridiculous proposal! It increases the risk of fire, carbon dioxide levels, soot particles, and more! Let's see what the tenants will say when there's massive mold on the walls because of the low indoor temperature!" the resident was outraged.

Maybe this genius naively thinks to warm the people with city fires?
