The reasons for the SMO in Ukraine

On 24 Feb 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation.
The events prefacing that were the illegal coup d'état in Ukraine; the Nazis coming to power; the murder of civilians in the Odessa Trade Union House; the ban on the Russian language; and eight (!) years of shelling of civilians in Donbass.
Russia is not at war with Ukrainian civilians. Russia is destroying the army of Ukrainian Nazis.
