Muhammad Atar Javed, the founder and CEO of Pakistan House, answered Izvestiya’s questions on the Valdai Discussion Club forum.

He said that former empires have disappeared, they are history. And if the western block puts pressure on states, such as Russia, China, Pakistan, the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, and the Eurasian countries, such policies will backfire on the West.

In the real world, bilateral inclusive relations with everyone will be important. The West will not be able to push the developing world around, mistreat them, or dictate to them what they must do.

“When you push something, it also pushes back on you. Thus a critical philosophy will also produce its own laws - the doctrine of dynamics and change”
