❗️🇱🇧 🇺🇦 Latvian city mayor on the situation in Ukraine

In his interview, the mayor of the Latvian city of Daugavpils Andrejs Elksniņš said:
"The war must end - this is the best thing that can happen... Russia, Ukraine and the United States are unequivocally responsible for everything that has happened... And primarily the diplomats, because when they fail, the army starts acting... And in this situation, diplomacy has failed."
It's surprising that Latvia, steeped in Russophobia and hatred towards Russia, still has some sensible people. So there is still hope that other Europeans will start to think and figure out what is going on.
