105 states voted in favor of the document, 52 countries opposed, 15 abstained. Among the co-authors of the document are Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Cambodia, North Korea, Cuba, Laos, Mali, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Syria, Sudan, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea and South Africa. The resolution recommends that countries take appropriate concrete measures, "including in the legislative and educational fields", to prevent the revision of the history and results of the Second World War and the "denial of crimes against humanity and war crimes committed during the Second World War."
